Background In 1997, Senate Bill 150, passed by the 75th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, established a common undergraduate admission application form for public general academic teaching institutions. The bill established an Advisory Committee to assist the Coordinating Board with the development and revision, as needed, of the common admissions application form. In 2005, Senate Bill 502, passed by the 79th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, amended the existing statute to public state colleges and public technical institutes.

The large blue and yellow arrows will take you to the full listing of HS2C data. The smaller orange and yellow arrows will take you directly to the report named. These data are created using the PEIMS graduate files provided by TEA. High school graduates are linked to higher education enrollment data provided to THECB from institutions. How do I navigate to Closing the Gaps Participation data? Closing the Gaps (CTG) is the strategic plan adopted by THECB directed at closing educational gaps in Texas. The goal of the plan is to close the gaps in four areas: participation, student success, excellence, and research. You can get to the CTG Participation data in several ways. The large blue and yellow arrows will take you to the full listing of Higher Education Topics. The smaller orange and yellow arrows will take you directly to the report named. If you are not sure who in your district / campus hass access, contact your lead counselor or ask your Region ESC contact for Apply Texas. You can find your ESC contact here: How do I navigate to IHE resumes? Each institution of higher education has an online resume that is updated annually. The resumes contain slightly different information for 2 year and 4 year institutions. For both institution types, the resumes contain enrollment, financial aid, costs, studentt success, and degrees awarded. Resumes are available for two audiences: (1) prospective students,, parents and the public, and (2) legislators and other policy makers. The resumes for policy makers have more granular data available for student success measures. 6 Page
