Time line for Registration March 15th-Middle schools will given placement test results and course placement forms. Placement in core subjects is based on district mandated guidelines. 9

Graduation Requirements Students must take and pass courses in specific subject areas in order to earn a high school diploma. Students must earn a total of 220 credits in these specific subjects. 2 7
College Requirements ( a g ) Courses required by UC and CSU to be eligible to apply for admission following high school graduation. Students must earn a C or better in a-g courses. 2 8

Sports Each sport is 3.5 credits Sports count as elective credits 3.5 credits of PE can be waived for each sport in 10th, 11th and 12th grade Students must maintain a 2.0 to play sports 3 7

Attendance Requirement A student will not earn credit for a course if he or she has 18 absences and 3 or more of these absences are cuts. Students will not be penalized for 18 cleared absences (ex. Health, school activities, etc) Parents have up to five days to clear an absence.
