All School STREAM Activity Thursday the school participated in an all school STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) activity. The students were put into grade level groups with junior high students as group leaders. Their task was to create an Easter basket with a handle out of newspaper that would hold two eggs (soup cans). Each group could only use newspaper, masking tape, scissors, and of course their brains to complete the task. The basket once finished had to be held by the handle without breaking for 10 seconds to be successful. Once finished all of the materials were recycled and the cans of soup were donated. Each of the twelve groups came up with a different, creative basket. The students enjoyed the activity and couldn t wait to see if their basket would pass the test.
