U9-U12 Players have 2 programs available: CSU FC U9, U10, U11, U12 Competitive Travel Youth Academy CSU FC U9, U10 Junior Development Program WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMPETITIVE TRAVEL YOUTH ACADEMY, COMPETITIVE PRE ACADEMY & JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM? Competitive Travel Youth Academy players are trained by the CSU FC Youth Academy professional trainers in an age-appropriate program under the direction of the Youth Academy Director. Designed for our potentially early developers who we feel are both psychologically and physically mature for their age and thus able to handle a more competitive environment. Players attend training 2-3 times a week and Freestyle Fridays Junior Development Program players are trained by the CSU FC Junior Development Program professional trainers in an age-appropriate program under the direction of the Junior Program Director. Players attend training twice a week. Players have a choice of playing small sided Saturday morning games (must commit to playing or not). Competitive Pre Academy players are trained by the CSU FC Youth Academy and Junior Development Program professional trainers in an age-appropriate program under the direction of the Youth Academy Director. Players attend training twice a week and optional Fridays.
*U5 Players must turn 4 years old before the season starts. WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, COMPETITIVE PRE ACADEMY AND COMPETITIVE TRAVEL YOUTH ACADEMY PROGRAMS? A structured, age-appropriate program. A positive learning environment. Timely communication. PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS OF PARENTS Player attendance and participation. Communication about any missed practices or games. Volunteer assistance to help manage the sideline with your child s Saturday game team. HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE? U5 Players must be 4 years old before the season they want to play in. U6+ Players see age chart for eligibility. WHAT ARE THE SEASONS? There are 2 seasons for the Junior Development Program players Fall and Spring. Players may commit to one season or both. Fall Season training starts early September until early November. Spring Season training starts early March to early May. Competitive Pre- Academy players are training from early September to May. Trainings are on Monday-Thursday and optional Fridays. ( from September until early November the Pre Academy players will train with the Junior Development Program - Wednesday and Friday) Competitive Travel Youth Academy Players will train two to three sessions a week including Freestyle Fridays for 10 months.

REGISTRATION DATES Fall Program Juniors: registration is open from June. Pre Academy, Youth Academy: registration is open from June. We accept late registrations on a space-available basis. Spring Program Junior registration is open from November 1 mid February. We accept late registration on a space-available basis. HOW DO I REGISTER? New Families to the Club create a registration account through the website www.coralspringsunited.com New Player to Your Family then go into your registration account and add a player. Returning Players register through your registration account. THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT TIME SLOTS ON THE JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SCHEDULE WHY? It is our goal to be able to include as many players in the program as possible and keep the quality of training high. With two time slots we can include more players and help secure our training staff. WHAT DO WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS LOOK LIKE FOR THE JUNIORS? Junior Development Program players are trained by CSU FC Junior Development Program and Youth Academy training staff. Players are placed into training groups and rotate through various activities each evening that include ball skills, motor skills and small-sided games. Trainers follow an age-appropriate curriculum that focuses on reaching the goals of the pro academies. DO WE HAVE TO WEAR SOMETHING SPECIFIC AT PRACTICE? Yes. Players are provided each season with a training shirt that is to be worn at all training sessions. Players must wear royal blue shorts and royal blue socks (purchased separately). DO I NEED TO BUY A UNIFORM? Junior Academy: If you choose to play Saturday games, you must purchase a game uniform online (not included in the registration fee). Uniforms for the Junior Development Program are the same as the CSU FC Competitive Pre Academy program. Uniform royal blue shorts and royal blue socks can be worn as part of Wednesday and Friday practice attire.
