April 18, 2016 College /Implementation Schedule To assist you in finding your college s implementation date, there are two separate lists, noted by title. The first indicates colleges in alphabetical order and the second is organized by adoption semester. Please note the following when referencing your college s adoption date: is when students will start testing on the new assessment system. Assessment results will inform student enrollment beginning in the. s were determined for each college using the following criteria: o The 12 CAI s were selected in June 2014 and are indicated with an in the column. o s of the Pilots were given the opportunity to adopt at initial rollout (Fall 2016) and are also indicated by an in the column. Not all sister colleges chose initial rollout. Other requests were accommodated. o Compass users were prioritized for initial rollout () based on ACT s discontinuance of the Compass tool, scheduled for November 30, 2016. Priority was given to those colleges that responded to surveys and requests to contact the CAI team for inclusion. o Other special requests received by the CAI project team were accommodated. All college requests are indicated in the last column. o Once the above factors were indicated, the remaining colleges were selected at random for each adoption semester. There are several steps that colleges are required to perform over several months prior to adoption. See the Implementation Guide at www.cccassess.org. Use of CCCAssess requires students to possess an OpenCCC account and CCCID. As mandated by SB 1456, if a college uses a standardized test, the common assessment system must be used, once available to said college. o Available is defined as the listed for each college. o Failure to adopt during the semester indicated may result in the loss of SSSP funding. **This includes all funding, not just that designated for assessment. o Early adoptions (prior to semester indicated in this list) may be accommodated based on available capacity determined by the CAI project team. Resources supporting local implementation are available at www.cccassess.org Questions may be directed to Jennifer Coleman, CAI Statewide Program Director, at jcoleman@ccctechcenter.org or 530-879-4165.
