An Example of GPA Calculation Jamie is taking 4 classes this semester (no honors or AP). If Jamie earned 1 A, 1 B, and 2 C s what is his GPA? 1 A = 4 points 1 B s = 3 points 2 C s = 4 points Total = 11 points Jamie will divide his total points by his total classes. 11 divided by 4 = 2.75 Jamie has earned a 2.75 GPA for this semester.
