MATHS CLUB Who for: Years 7-9 When: Tuesday lunchtime Location: B8 Duration: Term 1-3 Teacher in Charge: S Page and H Searle : Explore interesting aspects of mathematics. In term 1 we will look at origami. In term 2 we will look at using and breaking coded sentences and in term 3 we will look at the using maths to create art. YEAR 11 MATHS REVISION Who for: Year 11 Maths Revision When: Wednesday 3:15-4:15pm Location: B8 Duration: All Year Teacher in Charge: H Searle Each week we will revise a topic that may show up on the higher tier paper. A list of the topics for each week can be found on the wall in B8. YEAR 13 MATHS CATCH UP Who for: Year 13 When: Thursday lunchtime 1-1.30pm Location: B8 Duration: All Year Teacher in Charge: H Searle Each week we will recap a Core 3 or Core 4 topic. KS3 SCIENCE CLUB Who for: Years 7-9* When: Tuesday 3.20 4.20pm Location: L7 Duration: All Year Teacher in Charge: J Hayes and E Harper An opportunity to take a more in-depth look at some areas of Science and carry out different experiments. (*Any KS4/5 students who would like to come along and help are more than welcome.) This provides students with a quiet environment with help on hand should they need it. Computers can also be used at this time. History club will involve debating, historical films, examining evidence and much more! NB: This will not be available to Year 10 students after Christmas due to Year 11 coursework.
