SCIENCE EXHIBITION AT SUTRAPADA DPS DEBATE & LIGHT MUSIC COMPETITION It was Inter-School Debate and Music Competition. 11 elite schools of Saurashtra Region took part and ABPS stole the show by grabbing the Over-all Champions Trophy.
NATIONAL UC MASS Yug Sirodaria & Shashwat Vaja, from std.v & VI respectively proved their mettle by securing position among top 10 in the country in the National UC Mass Competition held in Jaipur CULTURAL FEST The School took part in the Cultural Fest-CONGVISION organized by Nand Vidya Niketan and school bagged Runners - up Trophy for its consistent performance in English Elocution, Art and Quiz. KHEL MAHAKUMBH Lakshmi sathyan bagged 1st position in Chess and won cash prize of Rs.5750 at regional level in Khel Mahakumbh organized by the Gov. Of Gujrat. BCE-A COMPANY VISIT BY TEACHERS A Team of teachers visited Indian Rayon Company to observe company s maintenance and safety measures.
INQUIZITOR - 2016 Phase-1 It was an honour for ABPS to host Inquizitor a G.K QUIZ to commemorate 15 years of GHR Education. The quiz comprised 2 phases. First phase was an online Qualifying Round which saw participation of 28 ABG schools from the length and breadth of the country. It was held on September 6, 2016 and 9 top scoring teams were shortlisted to compete in the Grand Finale which was held on October 15, 2016. Phase-2 The much awaited programme was graced by a galaxy of eminent personalities, Senior Executives of Indian Rayon, Principals of various schools and teachers and enthusiastic students. We were privileged to have Mr. Kunal Savarkar, a personality of national repute, as the quiz master. Mr. Kunal Savarkar is the CEO of Express Minds and has conducted over the 1000 quizzes in IITs, IIMs, NDA and many universities and was the content editor of first edition of KBC. It was a closely contested quiz but ABVB, Rishra, West Bengal proved their supremacy by winning the Inquizitor 2016. ABHSS, Veraval and ABPS, Chhattisgarh were first and second runners - up respectively.
ABG SCHOOLS DEBATE Great team coordination and eminent guidance helped school maintain its reputation in Inter- School Competitions and this time our school secured its position among the top 8 team out of 28 in group schools debate competition. The dancing diva of ABPS, Anjali Bhatt, rocked the Somnath stage with her magnificent dancing movements and was honored by honorable district collector and won cash prize of Rs. 5000. DANCING SENSATION CBSE SCIENCE EXHIBITION Our students made their way to the CBSE National Science Exhibition, held at New Delhi. The event saw young enthusiastic participants from various elite schools across the country Where our models Vita Salvator and Aqua-davida made their presence felt.
OLYMPIADS Aditya Kapadia secured 1 st position in national level English Olympiad Sudhanshu Ojha and Laxmi Sathyam secured 1th position in national level G.K and won Rs.10,000 prize each. BCE A VISIT BY UNIT HEAD - IR nit Head, Mr. H. S. Dagur and HR. Head Mr. Y. Raghuvanshi along with team or sr. Indian Rayon Officials visited ABPS on morning of Oct. 15, 2016. The Unit Head appreciated and complimented on its upkeep. CHAIRMAN S AWARD ONE CROWDED HOUR OF GLORIOUS MOMENT IS WORTH AN AGE WITHOUT A NAME It was a moment of pride for the school when Principal Mrs. Neepa Reji won the Chairman s Award of the Aditya Birla Group in the category of EXCEPTIONAL CONTRIBUTION-2016, from the Chairman Mr. Kumara Mangalam Birla. The dedication, hard work and team co-ordination is what made it possible for the ABPS Veraval, to win this distinction.
FUN AND - FAIR CUM EXHIBITION School organized Fun and - Fair cum Exhibition on November 26, 2016 which was inaugurated by the Unit Head Indian Rayon. The students put up the stalls of eateries and games. The exhibition based on the Models of Science, Social Studies and Art was the real treat to the spectators eyes. The canvas making competition was also the part of exhibition wherein the top three canvases were unveiled by The Unit Head. An interview session with the Unit Head was organized by ABPS radio and thereafter the lottery winners were declared by Unit Head, Mr. H.S. Dagur and Mrs. Anu Dagur. CRESCENDO JAN 26, 2017 The Aditya Birla Public School, Veraval organized CRESCENDO-2017, THE ANNUAL SPORTS MEET at the school ground, showcasing gala sporting events. Mr. H.S. Dagur, Unit Head, Indian Rayon was the chief - guest of the ceremony. The chief - guest hoisted the flag to mark the Republic day. After the inspection of four houses Ganga, Godavari, Narmada, Yamuna, the chief - guest rendered the appropriate salute to the troupes of March Past. The day was filled with exciting victories and near misses for all the houses. The excitement of the teachers and students was feverish during the cock house Ceremony. Yamuna house excelled in almost all the formats and bagged the Cock - House Trophy.
