The Key Club is working with the Kiwanis Club of Windsor and the Windsor Fire Department for a toy drive. Toys can be dropped off by December 13th at the fire department, police department, Exchange Bank, or Mrs. Green's room (G101). College and Career Readiness Corner SRJC is hosting two sections of American Sign Language (ASL 1) courses at Windsor High next semester specifically for high school students. One class is Monday/Wednesday from 4-6 pm; the other is same days from 6-8 pm. One semester of SRJC will record to the WHS transcript as one year of languages. Start your college work while in high school for dual credit. See your counselor as soon as possible as each class section is limited to 28 students SRJC Information-- Qualified high school seniors will be awarded up to $1000 to attend the SRJC full-time Fall, 2018, if they complete the Doyle Scholarship application by the December 8 deadline. Come to a Doyle Scholarship Application Workshop on Wednesday, December 6 at 8:30 a.m. in the library to find out how you can get money to attend college. Students interested in taking a class at the Santa Rosa Junior College can now view the Spring, 2018 Schedule of Classes online. Leadership Corner Athletic Luncheon: Athletic Luncheon for our Fall athletes will be held on 12/6/17 in the Leadership room B124. Fall athletes stop by to receive your free lunch. Spirit week: Spirit week will be held the week of January 16th to the 19th after winter break the themes are still to be determined. Holiday Sweater Day: Our Crazy Holiday Sweater day will be 12/15/17. Wear your holiday sweater to school and receive a sweet treat. Club Carnival on December 15th on the Quad at lunch! Raley s Cash Competition: 6B classes have the opportunity to compete in our first Raley s Cash Competition. Each 6B class will have a designated cash box, students and teachers will compete and put money into their own or different 6B teachers boxes. The teachers with the most money will get a pie in the face and the students will receive a pizza party with their 6B class. Raley s is offering to match 3 dollars to our one dollar and all the money will be donated. Please see attached flyer for more information!

Additional classes, do you want a chance to compete and win a class prize? Do you want a free Pizza lunch for your class? Would you like to give your 6B teacher a pie in the face? Here is your chance - Vineyard Academy and Raley s are challenging all WHS 6B Classes to a competition to see which class can get the most participation by donating money to the Food for Families Program**. Any student, teacher, parent, or friend can donate to the box placed in each participating 6B class. Start collecting the monetary donations of any amount on Friday 12/1/17 and accumulate points for that class. The competition will end 12/19/17. The class with the highest percentage of participation (not $) will be awarded a pizza lunch in January provided by Vineyard Academy and Raley s. The class with the most money donated, will be able to have a pie in the face award to the winning teacher at the next rally. Cash or Check (made out to WHS Culinary Club) are accepted. **When you donate a dollar to Food For Families, Raley s will more than TRIPLE your donation to your local food bank. 100% of every donation goes directly to feeding the hungry in Windsor with nutritious meals to a family struggling with hunger.**
