It is difficult to tell you all the great accomplishments of our students, so please frequent the Corona website to get the latest news, announcements, and information on the things that are happening here. It is updated daily and provides most of the resources needed to answer your questions. Use the search box in the upper right-hand corner if you can't find what you are looking for. The key words you type in will bring up all the information on the site related to those words. Thank you parents for all your support. Go Aztecs!!! Sincerely,

OTHER INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES If you child is absent IMPORTANT!!! CORONA DEL SOL ATTENDANCE LINE 480-752-8855 All student absences MUST BE CALLED IN to the Corona attendance line at 480-752-8855. The parent or guardian must call the Attendance Office within 48 hours of the absence for it to be an excused absence. This is a 24 hour voice mail line for absences only. All absences not called in are marked unexcused/truant. DO NOT leave any messages except attendance issues on this line as it is only checked periodically. Please call the main school line at 480-752-8888 for any other type of messages. Thank you and we appreciate your attention to this important matter. Dropping Items Off of Delivering Messages We encourage all students to come prepared for school at the beginning of each day. Please be aware that we will only page students down in between classes-passing period to retrieve items dropped off or messages. Please be aware that during the lunch time no pages will be made. This is enforced due to the fact that a page will disrupt instructional time for those students who have a different lunch time. Please be aware we DO NOT hold money and/or lunches for students. If you need to get either of those items to your child, you will need to come during a passing period and wait for them to come to the office for you to hand them the money and/or lunch. The student will be paged to come to the front office for you to see them. Students Leaving Prior to the End of the School Day When your student needs to leave the campus prior to the end of the school day, please follow the following procedures. We have found this system to be the most efficient for everyone, while minimizing classroom interruptions. All students need to bring a note from the parent/guardian to the attendance office before the start of the school day. The note should specify the reason for the absence and the time your child will be leaving. It should also be signed and would be helpful to include a contact phone number if there are any questions. You may also call the main school phone at 480-752-8888 and request to speak to an attendance clerk. This option is ONLY available when the student is leaving 60 minutes or more from the time of your call. Attendance staff will issue the student a pass to leave campus at the time specified by either driving themselves or the parent/ guardian picking them up. When you need to unexpectedly take your child out of school once you arrive in the Attendance Office to sign them out, we will call your student to come meet you in the front office. Homework Requests If your student will be absent, please contact their teachers via email concerning their homework and any questions or concerns you might have. Also, please be sure to log on to ParentVue and have your student log on to StudentVue and Canvas to check for lesson plans and homework. If a teacher leaves any homework or related item at the office, it may be picked up during our office hours Monday thru Friday 7 am 3:30 pm. Please note that a student may only be released to parents/guardians or to persons 18 years or older specifically authorized on the Emergency Contact Information given to the school. Please update any changes with the Attendance Office as they occur.
