2003-2005: Kenyatta University pursuing the Masters degree in Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics. Graduated in December 2007. I participated in two research projects with Professor Judith Waudo and Professor Judith Kimiywe of Kenyatta university. The research was on Utilization of the traditional foodstuff in Nairobi sponsored by IPGRI, and another sponsored by UNILEVER on the use of blue band in Kenya. I participated in the research work fully and also did some data analysis using SPSS. 1995-2003- District Home Economics officer Thika, Kenya- Planning, Budgeting, Implementing and evaluating the Home Economics programme in the District. Had many groups to reach on nutrition and kitchen gardening, energy saving devices like the maendeleo jiko and fireless cooker. The groups included the 4K clubs, young farmers and out of school youth. I worked closely with Non Governmental Organizations including Plan International and SACDEP in Thika in field trainings. 1993-1995 Head of Department Embu Agricultural Staff Training College. Coordinated Management and Training work for the department with over 200 students yearly. Participating in the Embu show and various meetings. 1989-1992 Pursued a Bachelor of Agriculture and Home Economics at Egerton University, Njoro Kenya and attained upper second class Honours, and graduated in 1992. 1980-1989, I worked at various capacities as Divisional Home Economics officer in Meru North Imenti Division, Kangema in Muranga District, Vice Principal Kisii Farmers Training Centre, and research liason officer at Ol Joro Rok Agricultural Research station in Kenya. 6.0 Hobbies Gardening, travelling, reading widely and career progression activities, and participating in church activities. I am a member of Mothers union and church choir. A member of the Auxilliary of Gideon International, fully engaged in Bible distribution and paper presentations in National Conferences.
