Graduation Tickets Each graduate is allotted up to 10 tickets. The enclosed form must be completed and turned in to the Building 8 Office by Friday, May 6. Only guests with tickets will be allowed to enter the Arena for graduation. If additional tickets are needed, you can petition for more tickets by submitting the bottom portion of the form and $2 for each additional requested ticket to Ms. Haper in the Building 8 Office, also by May 6. Tickets are available on a first come-first served basis after the initial allotment of tickets has been assigned. There is no guarantee that your full request will be fulfilled. Tickets will be available for student pick-up with an ID immediately following Graduation Practice. Guest Information Graduation is May 26, 2016 at 9:30am in the Amway Center. The graduation ceremony is approximately 2 hours in length. There are typically loud noises and music during the ceremony. Seating is on a first come-first served basis. In fairness to others, please arrive with your full party. Wheelchair accessible seating is available. LBHS JROTC will be on hand to assist with seating. The doors will be opened at 8:30am for guests to enter. For security purposes, each bag may be searched. Any items brought to graduation which might detract from the occasion, such as signs, coolers, noisemakers, and laser lights are unacceptable and will be confiscated. The school reserves the right to remove disruptive guests from the arena. Upon the announcement of names, appropriate acknowledgment with applause should be used to recognize the graduate. Continued noise detracts from the next graduate s name and slows down the process. It is the responsibility of graduates to inform those whom they invite to the ceremony of the expectation that each ticket holder should respect the dignity of this ceremony and observe proper etiquette. There is no guest access to the floor or stage area. Photographs may be taken from your seat in the arena. Professional Photos and Video Professional DVD s will be available for purchase with cash or check at the Amway Center and a pre-pay order form is included for your convenience. DVDs will also be available for purchase online with a credit card. Additional fees will apply. DVD s will be available for pick up over the summer. A notice will be posted announcing arrival of the DVDs for pick up at www.lakebrantley.com. Grad Images is the official photographer for graduation. Proofs will be sent to you after graduation. Please complete the enclosed card and return it to the Building 8 office on or before Friday, April 29 to ensure your proofs will be delivered. Contact Grad Images with any questions regarding photos. Parking The City of Orlando charges for parking in the garage. In the past, the cost has been $10. If you travel with your graduate in the same car and park in the designated area for grads, you will not be charged to park. Guests with handicap placards will find that parking in the garage provides the easiest access to the walkway and into the concourse of the Amway Center. Graduation Day Graduates should arrive by 8am to check-in and line-up. Do not bring bags, cameras, phones, or anything that needs to be carried, as there is nowhere to secure valuables and personal items. Only students who check-in on time will have names announced on stage. Diplomas will be distributed backstage following the ceremony. Students will then exit to meet their families.
