SCHOOL PARKING REMINDERS For safety during student pick up and drop off for all our students and staff which is paramount importance to all of us. Drop off and pickup can be done through the Church parking lot. Cars should not be parked across from where the busses stop and students should not cross the street between the busses to run to their pick up vehicle. According to city by laws, cars are not allowed to be parked across from the busses. The by law is enforced by the city of London and ticketing may ensue. This is a serious safety issue and we are asking for your support. Thank you for your support in advance. STUDENT PARLIAMENT NEWS We are very excited to announce that our school is offering School Cash Online, which provides Parent / Guardians with the convenience of paying online for school items such as field trips, school milk program, club/athletic fees, and other fees. This is a great way to pay without the need for cash or cheques! School Cash Online also helps you stay informed of upcoming events and helps you keep track of which school fees require your attention. For registration details visit their website at https://ldcsb.schoolcashonline.com/ Our Student Parliament is a wonderful opportunity for our students to assume a leadership role. The Student Parliament will have many activities and initiatives that will support our faith community and enhance community spirit. We will keep you updated! Water Does Wonders! Choose water first to quench your thirst! Our bodies are made up of 55-65% water. Water helps everything work in the body. It regulates the temperature of the human body, carries nutrients and oxygen to cells, cushions joints, protects organs and tissues, and removes wastes. Our body loses water throughout the day. The amount of water you need each day depends on your age, amount of muscle, physical activity and the weather. You will need more water when you are active and during hot weather. Water is always a great choice when you are thirsty. Have a refillable water bottle or glass with you during the day to make it easier to drink small amounts throughout the day. Remember, water bottles should be washed daily in warm, soapy water, rinsed and left to air-dry upside down. The nozzle of a sports cap should be opened and flushed through. Choose water first to quench your thirst!
