Spending that time with family and friends is so special. Be thankful for what we have and for what's to come. November is gone and December is here. So many chances to shop local with all the Christmas Bazaars going on. Hope everyone had fun at the Shop Hop on the 28 th at all the different stores around La Pine. You still have a few more to go, with the YA YA s Christmas Boutique Dec 1-15 th, La Pine Christmas Bazaar at the event center on the 4 th & 5 th, The light parade, The Old Fashioned Christmas at the Crescent Creek Church on the 12 th, the window decorating contest and the Wreaths Across America at the Senior Center on the 12 th, there will be opportunities to enjoy local businesses. It was 4 years ago this month that I started at the Chamber hard to believe! It has been non-stop since. With the help of a fabulous staff (Teri & Terri & Jane) and our amazing Volunteers present and past (Martha, Eileen, Barbi, Gene, Mary, Delores, Laura, Carol, Sharlene, Judy and of course The Gerald ) we have made it a point to keep our ears to the ground for all that is important in La Pine urban renewal, city planning, roads, events, etc. We have forged partnerships with Deschutes County, COVA, Sunriver Chamber and more. I am very proud of how our Chamber stays engaged in the community and beyond. Here s to keeping the momentum going and a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all the terrific people that have helped!
