Others may rely on one of the other criteria such as the sibling rule. Parents may wish to support their child at home using books, internet sites. Parents may wish to engage a 3 rd party to give direction such as a private tutor to provide support. Parents may wish to use a mixture of the above approaches. s Secondary Transfer Process (South West Herts Consortium & 11+ Tests ) s was established in 2014 to help parents prepare and support their children for the South West Herts Consortium Test (Secondary Transfer Test). It can appear overwhelming and confusing, making it stressful and worrying for all the family. While a number of children are tutored, the actual secondary transfer test will probably be their first experience of a formal test of this size. Yet at the young age of 10/11 years, they only have one chance to get it right.
