A P R I L 2 0, 2 0 1 6 Letter from the Principal Hello Parents, So many great things are happening at St. Joseph s Catholic School, it s tough to highlight them all. Here are a few recent highlights: We are currently learning and talking about the character trait of honesty. Yesterday, students got a chance to listen to the middle school finalists of the Modern Woodmen Speech Contest. All of the children did such a good job. Our top winners were 3rd place Jamie S., 2nd place Kaylee M., 1st place Morgan M. 1st and 2nd place will now move on to the district contest on May 5th. Next week our K4, K5, 3rd and 4th graders will be going on a field-trip to Discovery World. The 8th grade class will be enjoying a chance of a life time field-trip to Washington D.C. for the week. Our second graders are making their final preparations for receiving their First Holy Eucharist on April 30th and May 1st. Take a look at the rest of the newsletter showcasing a variety of other great things happening on a daily basis. May God continue to bless you, Jeff Van Rixel Principal
