Participant Testimonials From board level to the level of the individual manager, organisational behaviour is the key to effectiveness in organisations. Understanding how an organisation gets results is a key requirement for success. Having organisational behaviour insights, knowledge and skills can make a significant difference to the impact of a manager and the survival and success of the organisation. It is a core competence for leadership. Helen Keelan, Professional Non-Executive Director and Advisor I found the course to be intensely practical, which has enabled me to apply much of the learning acquired in my workplace with positive results. IMI Diploma Organisational Behaviour 3

The framework of the IMI Diploma in Organisational Behaviour is based on over thirty-five years of experience gained from delivering the MSc in Organisational Behaviour which was Ireland s premier qualification in the area of people and organisations. The IMI continuously strives to improve the quality and delivery of its programmes. Based on participant feedback, market research and professional evaluation, the following changes have been made to the IMI Diploma in Organisational Behaviour to enhance the participant s experience. The number of classroom days have been reduced from 18 to 15 days with the addition of independent guided self-study, all adding up to 600 hours. Each topic has 3 elements: 1. A pre-class element: Aimed at building an understanding of the topic through reading and exercises, as well as preparing for class-based simulations or case studies. 2. An in-class experience element: Experiential-, action- and peer-driven learning. 3. A post-class element: Aimed at consolidating the learning from the topic, sharing this learning with the class using online discussion fora and reflecting on own personal learning journey. Having taught Organisational Behaviour at Masters level over two decades, I am convinced that for Managers and Leaders, nothing beats self-awareness and people skills. Organisational Behaviour is the science that explains how to achieve high-performance working with people in an organisational setting and how to create organisations to which people want to belong.
