Office Memorandum Subject:- Grant of free medical facilities to the Himachal Pradesh Pensioners and their dependents. In partial modification of this department Office Memorandum of even number dated 4.4.2007 on the subject cited above, the matter regarding grant of medical reimbursement facilities to the dependent children of the retirees at par with the Himachal Pradesh Governemnt employees, was under consideration of the Government for some time past. At present serving employees are eligible to claim medical reimbursement for their children for sons till they start earning or attain the age of 25 years whichever is earlier and for daughters till they start earning or get married inrespective of age limit whichever is earlier. For pensioners the eligibility has been restricted to only minor children i.e. upto the age of 18 years.now it has been decided by the Governemnt that dependent children of retirees are also eligible for medical reimbursement on the same basis as those of serving employees.
