BoostMeUp Every year, the KMHS Lacrosse men s program has a Fall/Winter fundraising activity. As many of you know, our program gets little to no funding from Cobb County. This is commonplace amongst all the schools. Thus, we rely on fundraising to support our program. Just three years ago, our lacrosse complex was vastly different than what you see today. We have fundraised to purchase the trailers, connect electricity, install a fire hydrant, build both the ball wall, and conditioning area, extend the fencing and purchase the logo meshing. This year, we have decided to contract with BoostMeUp, a Roswell-based company that supports fundraising activities for both high school and collegiate teams. We did this on a limited basis two years ago with great success. BoostMeUp is an online fundraising campaign. Each player is REQUIRED to provide the BoostMeUp site with at least 6-10 emails for individuals. The BoostMeUp site will send emails regarding potential monetary donations to our program. WE DO NOT WANT PARENTS EMAILS. These emails should be for other family members and/or friends, work colleagues, etc. All you have to do is provide the site with the emails. The site does the rest. If an individual gets an email from BoostMeUp but chooses not to donate, he can opt out of the campaign instantly. For every $3 that a player raises, he will get back $1 in Mustang bucks to use toward spring dues or the purchase of equipment. Our campaign will start the week of December 18 th so enter your email addresses as soon as you can! This is a great opportunity for family/friends to get an end of the year tax deduction! KMHS Lacrosse is a 501(c)(3) charitable tax-exempt organization so all donations are tax deductible.

Kennesaw Mountain High School Lacrosse www.kmhslax.com The KMHS Lacrosse program was founded in 2003 and currently supports nearly 200 players at the high school, middle school and junior levels. It is the fastest growing sport at KMHS and in the West Cobb area. It is the largest sport at KMHS outside of football. KMHS fields varsity and junior varsity teams for both men and women in the fall and spring. We compete at the highest classification (3AAAAAAA). The men s team has appeared in the state playoffs over the last four years, reaching the Elite 8 in 2015. The women s team has been perennial state playoff contenders since 2004, winning the area championship in 2016 and 2017. Middle School and Junior programs were founded in 2012 and currently field the following programs in the fall and spring: o Boys U13 and U15 o Girls U13 and U15 The KMHS Lacrosse Booster Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is responsible for ALL aspects of the program, including coaches, players and facilities. KMHS Lacrosse is unique in that it has a dedicated lacrosse complex that is separate from other KMHS sports. Largely fundraising on the part of players and parents supports our program and complex with very limited support from the school and no support from the Cobb County school system. The median household income for the KMHS attendance zone is $71,000 and a median age of 36 years old. KMHS is also a math and science magnet school so we attract a student population from all of Cobb County. KMHS was one of only two Cobb County high schools ranked in the top 20 out of nearly 14,500 Georgia high schools according to Best Public High Schools.
