CLINIC DESCRIPTIONS Basketball Games & Contests Basketball Skills & Drills Flag Football Gymnastics Hockey Lacrosse Play Ground Games Nerf Tag Rock Wall Skills Volleyball Youth Police Academy This clinic is for kids ages 6-15. The clinic will consist of using games and contests to help teach and build upon each participant s fundamental basketball skills. There will be games and contests such as: 5v5, 3v3, knockout, hot spot, dribble knockout, HORSE, and more! This clinic is for ages 6-15. The clinic will consist of instruction, drills, and activities. These activities are designed to help teach and reaffirm each participant s fundamental basketball skills. Skills that will be taught include: defense, team defense, dribbling, passing, shooting, boxing out, footwork, offensive awareness, and more. This clinic is for kids entering grades 1-5. The clinic will help teach and reaffirm camper s fundamental skills through drills and activities. Skills that will be worked on include: passing, blocking, running, defense, and more. Participants will be playing different football games as well. This clinic will teach and reaffirm student s fundamental gymnastic skills through different drills and activities. This clinic will teach and reaffirm student s fundamental hockey skills, on our indoor hockey rinks. Drills and activities will help players learn: puck handling, passing, shooting, defending, and more. Participants will be playing different hockey games as well. This clinic will teach and reaffirm student s fundamental lacrosse skills. Drills and activities will help players learn: ball handling, passing, shooting, defending, and more. Participants will be playing different lacrosse games as well. Participants will need to provide their own lacrosse sticks, as our supplies are limited. Dodgeball, Kickball, Wiffleball, Gaga and all the playground favorites are played with an emphasis on activity and sportsmanship. Love Nerf Tag? This is the clinic for you. We will play a ton of different games with an emphasis on our core values and team work. This class will introduce rock climbing techniques, safety, route making, knot tying, belaying, equipment and more. Rock climbing is great exercise, and a fun, lifelong exciting hobby. The class will have exclusive use of the Rock Wall during the session time. This clinic will help teach and reaffirm student s fundamental volleyball skills through different drills and activities. The skills that will be worked upon include: hitting, setting, serving, spiking, passing, and more. Participants will be playing different volleyball games as well. Become a Youth Police Cadet in this week long experience where you will get to go through some of the training that police officers go through. Activities include: Physical Fitness, Fingerprinting, CSI, Traffic Stops and much more. Class is held at Delaware Police Dept. 70 N. Union St. T-Shirt is included.

CLINIC DESCRIPTIONS Youth Fire Academy Painting Camp Nature & Art Camp Art to Share Story & Art Time Art Journaling Cartoon Drawing Become a Junior Firefighter in this week long camp. Activities include physical fitness, equipment demonstrations, tours, and much more. Camp will be held at Fire Station 302 683 Pittsburg Dr and have different drop-off/pick-up locations throughout the week.. T- Shirt is included. We will try out different surfaces to paint on and learn a variety of techniques, color mixing, brush use, and cleaning. Enjoy the wonders of nature by using nature to create art plus create art about nature and animals. Class may get messy. We will create art to share such as painted rocks to leave for someone else to find or as gifts for friends and family. Rocks will have interesting designs and positive words on them. We will also make art trading cards. Students will trade with each other and have some to take home. We will read books and create art to go along with the story. Learn ways to create an art journal. Art journals can be used a as means of artistic expression, self-discovery, storytelling etc. Journals are limitless! We will work with painting, collage, drawing, lettering and more. Don t think you are an artist? I do! Give it a try. Journals can be private or shared. Only rule, there are no rules! Start collecting images that you like, books that can be torn, any art supplies that you may have. Please bring a book for journaling in. Any book can serve as a journal. The heavier the paper the better. If a blank book is desired, I recommend the Cannon XL Series Mix Media book. Some supplies will be provided. Come and enjoy the wonderful world of cartooning. We will be drawing in different styles including traditional, manga, chibi, as well as creating our own characters
