SUNY s Empire State Students enrlled in SUNY s Empire State Cllege (must shw Empire State identificatin card) are granted the same brrwing privileges as CUNY students. They are issued a CUNY Open Access card (Circulatin Desk) with a generic barcde (2 9999 ) and an expiratin date at the end f the current semester. Cards and barcdes are lcated at the circulatin desk in Circulatin Plicy binder. CUNY Open Access Cards and Generic Barcdes Open Access Cards (Circulatin Desk) with a generic (2 9999 ) barcde are issued t students wh d nt have a barcde frm their hme campus n their ID card and want t check ut items frm Brnx Cmmunity Cllege library. Items may be renewed twice (2 times circulating bks - if nt requested by anther patrn). After tw renewals, bks are returned, checked in and placed in the stacks. 3-day lan bks, n renewals. Renewing Online Step 1: Click My Accunt/Renew. Step 2: Type yur ID card barcde number (14-digit number n back f card) int bth the barcde and the passwrd bx. Step 3: Under 'Activities' click 'Current Lans.' Step 4: Click the bk number yu want t renew and click 'Renew.' Renewals WILL NOT be granted if: Request is made via telephne (NO TELEPHONE RENEWALS). FINES AND FEES Faculty, staff, students and ther patrns f the library are subject t fines fr verdue, damaged, r lst materials. Fines are paid by Cash Only. General verdue fine: $.25 per item per day up t a maximum f $20.00.
