Held a monthly Corporate Communion. 7. Members/Family assist in the celebration of the Mass, i.e., ushers, lectors, extraordinary minister of communion, & choir. 8. Participated in the National Prayer Day on September 11. 11. Participated/donated funds to our Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose Run. 12. Held a Memorial Mass in honor of their deceased members in November. 13. Held the "Light Up for Christ" on the first Tuesday of December. 14. Celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12. 15. Held a Blue Mass honoring fire fighters, police officers, EMT's, and military personnel. 16. COMMUNITY 1. Made presentation to the local community and membership on "Health Awareness Programs, Learn about Drugs, Alcoholism or Aids Campaign and Pro-Life Issues". The event should be publicized throughout the community. 2. Participated in "Social Events" with non-knights of Columbus organizations, i.e. dance, athletics, etc.; and Community Charitable Endeavors; i.e., United Way, Special Olympics, Born to Run, Car Shows, Bingo Fundraising, etc. 3. Participated in Civic Functions, i.e., parades, serve communion to the incarcerated, displayed the flag, etc. 4. Supported and/or assisted frail and home bound senior citizens. Provided transportation to and from appointments, church, served communion to those in nursing home and home bound. 5. Participated in a Community Wide "Working Events", i.e., Clean-up or Beautification Projects, Adopt-A- Highway Program, etc. 6. Council and/or family members volunteer at veterans hospital or health care facilities including hospice. 7. Provided positive action in Community by action in giving man hours or funds for participating in an event. 8. Assisted in a Habitat for Humanity Project or Global Wheelchair Mission independently or with other community organizations. 9. Council and/or family members supported community organization by contributing and distributing coats for kids, clothing, food and emergency financial assistance. 10. Council Contributed funds to the Pro-Life effort, i.e., Sanctity of Life, Defender of Faith, and Ultra Sound Equipment. 5. Maintains a Culture of Life Bulletin Board or displays a Pro-Life Road Sign. 6. Raised funds for Birthright, Care Net, Project Defending Life, or other pregnancy crisis center. 7. Conducts a monthly rosary prayer group to end abortion. 8. Sponsors "Tree for Life" events to collect baby items/supplies for unwed mothers and crisis pregnancy service centers. 9. MEMBERSHIP 1. Council published an article in Council Newsletter/Bulletin regarding "Membership". Newsletter must be attached for credit. 2. Established an active Membership Program. Committee should consist of the Chancellor (as chairman), Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Director, Program Director, and any other members that the Grand Knight determines. 4. Established an active "Retention Committee" with at least 4 members. 5. Established or re-certified a 1st Degree Team. 6. Admissions Committee interviewed prospective nominee(s) to join the Knights of Columbus. 7. Brought in new members, reinstatement, re-admissions, re-application and re-activations. 8. Hosted a "Fraternal Benefit Night", must be an "Open House" for non members. A Field Agent must conduct and certify the event. 11. Participated in the ONE MEMBER PER MONTH PER COUNCIL. 12. Council assisted in the formation of a new council or reinstatement.

PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES 1. Supports Community Disability Programs, i.e., volunteer at hospitals, building wheelchair ramps, etc. 2. Participate in fund raising activity(s) with proceeds going to PWID. 3. Established a PWID Committee that meets monthly to plan events. 4. Published a PWID article in Council Bulletin or local newspaper. 5. Submitted Campaign for People with Intellectual Disability Report. (NMSC Form 03). No later than June 20th. 6.
