We understand course fees are a significant financial investment, that s why we offer flexible interest free payment plans for all courses. Our payment plan starts with a $300 up-front deposit. Once receipted, you are direct debited at least $50/week (on a day of your choice) for the remainder of your course fee payment plan which is INTEREST FREE. Study Modes Fully online study is completely interactive, including lecture presentations, videos, web links, podcasts and activities. Self-paced over 12 months for each qualification, you can study at a pace that fits with your lifestyle while receiving access to the Academy s extensive student support services. Face-to-face study involves attending classes in Melbourne (Caulfield) or Brisbane (Toowong). All face to face courses include both theory and practical sessions utilising the fully equipped on-campus Training Centres. For start dates and timetabling information, please ask for a course schedule or visit our website. This means no debts, no interest paid and no deductions from your salary for years to come. Government Funding Australian Fitness Academy is approved to deliver government subsidised training within Queensland via the Queensland Certificate III Guarantee. If you are eligible you can study with help from the Queensland and Commonwealth governments. Government funded courses are available face to face and fully online. Support Practical Placement Students needs vary when it comes to support throughout their studies therefore we offer extensive support options including: Practical placement is a great way to put what you have learned into practice and to prepare you for the hands on fitness industry. Included in all modes of study, it helps you to gain extra experience before entering the fitness industry whilst also enhancing your job prospects. Many students actually end up gaining employment as a result of their work experience placement. Unlimited support available to all students whilst studying online. Students can call, webcam or email the Academy s student support officers. Face to face students also have access to lecturers and support staff during and after class. Access to the leaders in staff recruitment Healthy People (AFA students receive 12mths free online access) and Sports People, two of the leading sports and fitness recruitment organisations in Australia. Post Graduate Study - enjoy 12mths access to the online learning system and continue to refresh your knowledge long after you have completed your study. The work experience component occurs within the course timeframes. You are required to complete 32hrs for the Cert III and 30hrs for the Cert IV, and a professional practice log book (50hrs) throughout each certificate. Most students arrange placement at a local gym, fitness centre or personal training studio. The Academy has a range of work experience placement partners who are happy to assist our students.

Setting up a business: For students who plan to start their own business, the Academy s business, sales and marketing topics have been designed to provide students with access to the practical tools needed to set up their own PT business and attract clients.
