Objectives of AMS Availability of near real time data Comprehensive, accurate, level-wise reports. Direct & instant information from grass-root to the State and National level without intermediate levels To reduce arbitrariness in physical inspection Transparency of data Instant information leading to check on distortion of data Capturing probable reasons for not serving meals

Salient Features of AMS Daily data captured through SMS/IVRS/Mobile App. from schools States/UTs pushing daily data on into central server. Central portal for analysis & display being maintained by NIC Email alerts are being sent to States/UTs regarding MDMS implementation 3

Target Date for implementation Target date for implementation of project: 1 st July, 2016 In the PAB-MDM meetings, States/UTs assured to implement by 30 th April, 2017 Letter issued by : Secretary (SE&L) on 8 th March, 2016 Joint Secretary on 29 th December, 2016 Joint Secretary on 18 th May, 2017 4

Achievements 34 States/ UTs are on Board and pushing their daily data on Central Server. Various Types of Report on the basis of Daily data collected may be used for further planning and monitoring purpose.
