MEETING OBJECTIVES By the end of the meeting we will have discussed and reviewed the following: Senior Expectations SSL/ Obligations Yearbook Info Prom/ After Prom Graduation Senior Picture

SENIOR EXPECTATIONS College and Career Plans All seniors must turn in a Diploma Card Form SAT & ACT Scores can ONLY be submitted to colleges via Collegeboard and ACT Mid year reports have started being sent to colleges if you need these please sign up through Naviance! Final transcripts must be requested via Naviance in May Please notify Ms. Harris of any scholarships you have been awarded and all college acceptances.

SENIOR EXPECTATIONS Discipline issues may keep you from attending prom and/or walking at Graduation Issues include incidents at games, prom or other Rockville HS activities You are expected to pass all your classes this semester in order to walk at graduation

SSL HOURS & SENIOR OBLIGATIONS SSL Hours Must be completed by April 4 th Seniors may not attend Senior Activities without their SSL Hours Contact Ms. Kiang-Spray with questions at Wendy_KiangSpray@mcpsmd.org Obligations You may participate in ANY senior activity unless ALL obligations are paid!! It s time to pay up!

SENIOR DUES Dues: $60 Payable online https://osp.osmsinc.com/montgomerymd/default.aspx Cost covers Senior Picnic Cap & Gown Graduation Checks will be collected every Wednesday in the Girls PE Office Must be paid by April 29!

YEARBOOK INFORMATION This year the yearbook will include a baby or childhood photo of each senior next to their current senior portrait. Pictures should fit this criteria: From ages 0-14 years (Before High School!) The student is alone in the photo, no other family members or friends. Email Ms. McKim Krista_L_McKim@mcpsmd.org

SENIOR PROM Friday May 18 th 7pm-12am Spirit of Baltimore, Baltimore Harbor Boards at 7:00pm & Docks at 11:30pm Dinner will be served Multiple floors for dancing Tickets $90 per person includes Prom Ticket (Dinner/Dance)and Prom Bus Available for purchase online $80 April 30-May 6 In school purchases May 8 th through May 11th

SENIOR PROM Prom Buses Leave and return from Longwood Community Center in Olney Departure Time: 6pm No Bags or Backpacks allowed on Prom Buses Dress Wear Formal Attire Footwear required at all times

SENIOR PROM All students must be in school through lunch. The must have a note dismissing them after lunch. Students may bring one guest under the age of 21. All required forms must be accurately filled out when purchasing tickets.

GRADUATION Thursday, May 31at 10am DAR Constitution Hall- DC Graduates must arrive by 9am Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal Wednesday, May 30 at 10am in RHS main gym Senior Picnic after rehearsal in the Stadium

GRADUATION Appropriate Business Attire For Graduation NO JEANS, SHORTS, CASUAL SANDALS OR SNEAKERS Handicap Information Enter on The D Street side of DAR Parking Colonial Parking Garage, 1750 G Street Use parking apps SpotHero, Parking Panda Please be in your seats before Processional starts. Once it starts, doors will be closed and will not open until the National Anthem has been played

GRADUATION The Class of 2018 has over 300 Graduates Tickets- 10 per graduate Extra ticket request via email to Farron_S_Riggs@mcpsmd.org Include childs name and ID # in the email Paid Parking available near DAR Rockville HS will offer bus transportation (for a fee) for families on a first come first serve basis Bus tickets are $15 Per Person Online sign up will start April 24 th through May 12th. Be sure to include email address on the form.
