March 2013 President s Message Scott Powell, 2012 2013 HCTM President I hope you have had a good 2 nd semester and that you are in good health. I had the pleasure of welcoming over 250 teachers to our annual spring conference. I would like to personally thank all the teachers who attended, all the presenters who gave everyone something to think about and hopefully gave them some ideas to put into their practice. I would especially like to thank our special guest and keynote Mr. Dan Meyer who is always entertaining and inspires us all. I would also like to thank the HCTM board members and the many volunteers who helped us on that day. The folks at Sacred Hearts Academy are always so gracious and allow us to invade their space and, this year, enjoy their new cafeteria. It was just a really great day. We had a lot of positive comments, a lot of smiling faces and hopefully we made some new friends and connections. The HCTM board is already starting to plan for next year so please be looking for that. Thanks again for your participation. Sincerely Yours Scott
