Women in Information Technology Conference Ladies, are you interested in technology? Bradford has the opportunity to attend the Women in IT Conference at Lake Lawn Resort on March 14th. Ladies if you are interested see Mrs. Gallo in the library or pick up a PINK permission slip outside her office. The program is free and includes lunch. Forms must be turned in by Thursday, February 24 th. Track Workout News Track Workouts will be at 4pm today. Meet Coach Fortney outside at the Stadium. Attention Bradford Track Athletes Track practice begins in two weeks on Monday March 6th. If you expect to begin practice on that Monday, you will need to have your athletic forms and fees turned in to Room 151 to be cleared. If not, you will not be allowed to practice. Also check your attendance records and clear up any truancy that will affect your participation in track. Please make every effort to get your paperwork turned in to room 151 this week. Or ever wondered how warehouses manage and distribute massive amounts of online orders daily? If this sounds like something you would enjoy learning more about and are interested in attending field trips, please see Mr. Saling in room 216 for detailed information and permission slips. 4 th Dodgeball Tournament Bullen Middle School announces its 4th annual alumni dodge ball tournament! The tourney will take place in the Bullen gym on Friday, March 10th starting at 4:00 pm. Cost to enter is FREE! Cost for all spectators is $1.00. All entry forms are available at Bullen from Ms. Meteyard or in the field house from Mr. McGovern. Teams may consist of any Bradford student or any current high school student that is also a Bullen Alumni. Teams will be 5-6 players, with games being 5 vs 5. The deadline to sign up with all signed permission slips and entry forms is Thursday, March 2nd or when there are 25 teams. ALL FORMS MUST BE TURNED INTO MS. METEYARD AT BULLEN NO LATER THEN MARCH 2 nd HURRY! College Visit Roosevelt University is coming to visit Bradford March 7th at 8am. Roosevelt is a campus of about 5,000 students located in Chicago. Admission is probable if you rank in the top ½ of your class or you have an 18 on the ACT. Some programs include: Accounting, Early Childhood Education and Public Administration. See Mrs. Mars in room 218 if interested in meeting with a Roosevelt rep.
Higher Learning Information Mary D. Bradford Class of 61 Scholarship for $1,500 is offered to a senior who has a GPA of a 2.75 or higher and plans to attend a four or two-year accredited college or university in the state of Wisconsin. See the Bradford Scholarship website or Mrs. Mars in room 218 for the application. The deadline is February 28th. Roosevelt Elementary School Scholarship Seniors, if you attended Roosevelt Elementary School for at least three years then you could win a scholarship for $250. See the scholarship website for more information and an application. The deadline is April 28th. UW Stevens Point Scholarship Seniors if you plan to go to UW Stevens Point you could be eligible for a full ride scholarship called the Noel Compass. See Mrs. Mars in room 218 if interested.
