We offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities! We are working towards all students being academically ready for high school and striving towards a world class education for all students! Athletics Sixth graders are eligible for athletics except for football, dance, and cheerleading Students must have a sports physical prior to participating in athletics (blank forms available tonight if needed) Fall Football, Volleyball, Swimming, Cheer, Dance, and Cross Country Winter Basketball, Cheer, Dance, & Wrestling Spring Baseball, Softball, Golf, and Track

School Day at RNR! School Starts at 7:45 AM (breakfast at 7:15 AM). Intramurals start at 7:15 (every day except Wednesday) Open to 6 th grade students!! (Starts second week of school) School Dismisses at 2:45 PM (car riders out front, buses pick up on Polk Street). Students eat lunch with their team or grade level - two lunches per grade level.

Teachers 6 th Grade Three academic teams of four teachers per team (Note: 6 th grade Mrs. Francis will teach Math 6 and Math 6 Honors across the three teams) 7 th grade Twelve academic teachers three teams 8 th grade Twelve academic teachers three teams 7th and 8th Grade Math Classes work with all students from every team; students are mixed from every team and type of course

Personal Responsibility Help your child to be responsible for lunch money, band and orchestra instruments, etc. Stay on top of school assignments and homework (Edvance360, PowerSchool, website, PlanetHS/K8, etc.) Contact teachers, email is typically best, with questions or concerns Get involved with our PTA, Athletic and Library Volunteer Programs

Technology Students can bring cell phones to school; however, they are to only be used before school, after school, or when permitted by supervising adult. Use and possession of devices in the bathrooms and locker rooms are prohibited. District is providing students with a laptop: grade 6 laptops will be distributed during the first or second week of school. The tech fee will be collected at the time of distribution. Encourage your child to be responsible with these devices.
