Clarifications regarding the judgment will not be entertained. Props, dresses, stationery, special equipments etc will not be provided and will not be compensated for as well. Late entries will not be allowed Information regarding the events will be available at the Help Desks Organizers will not be responsible for the security of participants personal belongings. Registration would be held on 7 th February 2014 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.. All the final participants are required to get themselves registered; else, they will not be entertained. All participants are required to be on time else their registration will stand cancelled. Entry of students/ participants of USS/ affiliated institutes will be allowed after checking of their identity cards during the festival Anugoonj-2014 at Dwarka Campus of the University only and required to produce their College Identity Card on demand at any time. Every member of the team must carry valid identity card. All participants/audience are advised to use public conveyance for reaching the University Campus during the Festival. PRELIMINARY ROUNDS WILL BE HELD IN EACH ZONE.

(C) Western Vocal Solo Number of participants is one Maximum 2 instruments allowed Time limit : 4+2 minutes Judgment will be based on the qualities like composition, 1. Music (A) Classical Vocal solo (Hindustani & Karnatak) Hindustani and Carnatic Number of participants is one Maximum number of accompanists is two Sufficient thought and care must be exercised in the choice of raga and composition. Judgment will be based on the qualities like swara, taal, selection of raga, composition and general impression Max. Time Limit : 5+ 2 minutes (B) Light Vocal Music (Indian) Film songs allowed Number of participants is one Two accompanists are allowed Time Limit : 4+2 minutes Rhythm, co-ordination and general impression. (D) Group Song (Indian) Number of participants are six Maximum of 3 accompanists allowed Time Limit: 8 + 2 min (for setting) minutes Judgment will be based on quality of singing only and not on make up, costume or action of the team. No film songs (E) Group Song (western) Maximum number of participants is ten Three accompanists are allowed Maximum of 3 instruments allowed Time Limit: 8+2 minutes Judgment will be based on quality of singing only and not on make up, costume or actions of the team.

2. Dance Events A. Folk Dance Minimum of 10 participants Time limit : 8 + 2 minutes Judgment will be based on rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, costumes, makeup, sets, and overall effects No film songs allowed B. Choreography Maximum of 10 participants per entry Time Limit: 9 + 3 minutes (curtain to urtain) Negative points on exceeding the time limit No lyrics allowed, only some words allowed No props or dresses will be provided Props may be used only with prior permission of the event head coordinator Folk dances not allowed The theme should have an original expression through music and movement C. Classical Dance No film music allowed One participant + Three accompanists allowed Time Limit: 6 + 2 minutes Judgment will be based on rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, costumes, make up, sets, and overall effects D. Nach Baliye Two participant per team( 1 Boy/ 1 Girl) Props allowed (personal) Time Limit: 5 + 2 minutes E. Footloose Minimum of 10 participants, Time Limit: 6 + 2 minutes It is a formal event F. Street Dance Minimum of 10 participants Time limit = 8+2 minutes No Bollywood music allowed

3. Literary C. Creative Writing (English) Topic will be given on the spot Time limit : 1 hour Creative Writing (Hindi) Topic will be given on the spot Time limit : 1 hour A. Quiz 3 member team, 2 teams per zone 8 Finalists will be selected on the basis of a written elimination round The Finals will have Audio besides the regular Oral rounds D. Poetry Recitation (Hindi/English) 2 participants per zone Time Limit : 4+1 minutes Original works will be favoured E. Just-a-Minute 2 participants per zone B. Debate (Hindi/ English) Two member team; one for the motion and one against Contact head coord. on 7 th Feb., 2014 for the topic 2 teams per zone. Maximum time limit : 3 + 1 minutes *Team of Two and not the individual will be considered for first and second position.

4. Dramatics B. Street Plays Play may be in Hindi or English Maximum number of participants per team:10 (incl. Two accompanists), minimum 8 participants Use of make-up, lights and mikes not allowed Time Limit: 10+10 minutes It is essential for registration that teams send beforehand (a) Name of play and playwright (b) script and synopsis No props are allowed A. One-Act Plays Maximum Time: 15 + 5 minutes Maximum of 12 participants per team (incl. three accompanists) No props will be provided C. Mono Acting One participant per team Time limit: 4 + 1 minutes Judgment will be based on qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of makeup, music and general impression

5. Fine Arts Magazines or any sort of material will not be provided C. Clay Modeling Topics will be provided on the spot. Clay will not be provided Time limit : 2+½ hours D. Cartooning Topics will be provided on the spot. Time Limit : 2+½ hours A. On the spot painting 2 participants per zone Topics will be provided on the spot. No restriction on the number of colours used. Participants must bring their own material. Emphasis on creativity and relevance to the topic Time limit : 2+½ hours B. Collage Contact head coord. on 7 th Feb,,2014 for the topic Time limit: 2 + ½ hrs. E. Rangoli Maximum of two participants per team form each zone No type of paints (poster, oil or water) to be used Materials should be brought by the participants No props to be used The topic will be provided on the spot. Maximum size: 4 by 4 Time Limit: 2+½ hours

6. MR. AND MS. ANUGOONJ 2014 Personality Contest The selection process for Mr. & Ms. Anugoonj 2014 The number of participants per team is 1 girl & 1 boy. The selection will be done by eminent personalities in the field of art and culture.
