Item 1: Confirmation of the minutes of the 10 th meeting of (2014-15) held on 22/06/2015; The minutes of the 10 th SPGC (2014-15) meeting held on 22/06/2015 were confirmed with correction that the name of Dr. Bushra Ateeq is now included in the list of the members present in the meeting (in place of Dr. D S Katti) Item 2: To ratify the following decisions taken /approvals given by Chairman, SPGC: The SPGC ratified the following decisions taken /approval given by Chairman, SPGC: (i) Extension of the State of the Art Seminar given upto July 07, 2015 to Ms. V Kaushika Draavid (13100077) Ph.D. student, Dept. of Humanities & Social Sciences, due date of SOTA seminar was May 07, 2015. (ii) Extension of the State of the Art Seminar given upto August 06, 2015 to Mr. Kashfull Orra (13205071) Ph.D. student, Dept. of Mechanical Engg., due date of SOTA seminar was July 06, 2015. The SPGC considered the request of Mr. Arun Kumar Agarwal (14112005) Materials Science Programme, for change of academic registration from M.Tech to PhD programme. SPGC approved the change of 5
academic registration from M.Tech. to PhD programme in the Material Science Programme. It needs to be reported to Senate. Item 8: To consider the request of Ms. Kritika Upadhyay (13103174) Dept. of Civil Engg., for change of academic registration from full time PhD programme to part-time PhD programme. The SPGC considered the request of Ms. Kritika Upadhyay (13103174) Dept. of Civil Engg., for change of academic registration from full time PhD programme to part-time PhD programme. After discussion, committee approved the change of academic registration from full time PhD programme to part-time PhD programme. It was also decided that every semester Ms. Upadhyay should be physically present for do the registration formalities. It needs to be reported to Senate. Item 9: To consider the request of Mr. M Rashid Zafar Ansari (12105170) Dept. of Mechanical Engg., for change of academic registration from full time PhD programme to part-time PhD programme. The SPGC considered Mr. M Rashid Zafar Ansari (12105170) Dept. of Mechanical Engg., for change of academic registration from full time PhD programme to part-time PhD programme. After discussion, committee approved the change of academic registration from full time PhD programme to part-time PhD programme. It was also decided that every semester Mr. Ansari should be physically present for do the registration formalities. It needs to be reported to Senate. Item 10: To consider the request of Mr. Rahul Bera (14111025) M.Tech. student, Dept. of Computer Science & Engg., for leave for the semester 2015-16-I to go for Internship at AMD India Design Centre, Bangalore The SPGC considered the request of Mr. Rahul Bera (14111025) M.Tech. student, Dept. of Computer Science & Engg., for leave for the semester 2015-16-I to go for Internship at AMD India Design Centre, Bangalore.
