LEAD Roles Leaders Each Assisting Differently

Morning Greeters K - 5th Are you a perky morning person? Bring that cheer to your fellow Cougars by being a Morning Greeter from 7:20-7:40 every morning and greet students as they arrive. One Greeter will welcome students to the cafeteria. Two Greeters will welcome students as they come to the library. This job is available to anyone Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Flag Patrol K - 5th The Flag Patrol will raise the American and Texas flags in front of our school each morning and will lower the flags at the end of each school day. The Reveille (morning patrol) will raise the flags by 7:30 am and the Retreat (afternoon patrol) will lower the flags at 2:45 pm. This job is available to Kindergarten - 5th grade students and will be trained by Mrs. Dick.

Student Advisory Board K - 5th Do you care deeply about our school? Do you have great ideas for improvement and leadership at CSE? You are needed on the Student Advisory Board. This group will meet monthly with Mrs. Heintzman to give input and share ideas for how to make College Street even better! This role is available to Kindergarten - 5th grade students.

Green and Clean Squad K - 5th If you like being outside and care about nature, you ll love Green and Clean! This team will be on duty on Monday mornings from 7:20-7:40 am with Mr. Carrillo to remove debris from the front of our school and the playground keeping everything green and clean. This job is available to Kindergarten - 5th grade students.

Lost and Found Crew K - 5th Many jackets, sweaters, and other belongings find themselves lost and alone in the Lost and Found. Leaders are needed to organize this space and make sure that lost items find their way back to their owner. Mrs. Martin will assist as needed to design a system for the CSE Lost and Found. This job is available for Kindergarten - 5th students.

Special Events Leaders K - 5th When visitors arrive on campus, we want them to feel welcome. The Special Events Leaders will greet visitors and escort them to the event. While with visitors, the leaders will share the great things happening at College Street and what The Leader in Me is all about.

Tech Assistant 1st - 5th If you are a natural leader of technology, then this is the role for you! This team will meet with Mrs. Smith in the computer lab every morning from 7:20-7:40 am. Tech Assistants are needed to help students working in the computer lab with any technology issues and prepare the technology in the lab for the day.

Boarder Patrol 3rd - 5th The hard work created by the super Cougars of CSE is displayed on bulletin boards throughout the school. However, sometimes these bulletin boards need a little extra care and repair. The Boarder Patrol will work with Mrs. Loyd and other classroom teachers each morning from 7:20-7:40 to repair and design the bulletin boards. This role is available to 3rd- 5th students.

Media Team The CSE Media Team will work with Mrs. Brosi to prepare and announce important school news. The Media Team will meet from 7:20-7:55 every morning and this will also serve as your Cougar Time on Friday mornings. This job is available to 4th and 5th grade students.

Stagehands 4th and 5th Are you passionate about music and performances? You are needed as a Stagehand! The Stagehands will work with Ms. Rick to help as needed in preparation of grade level performances as well as after performances. The Stagehands will also be needed from 6:30-7:45 pm the night of each performance. This job is available to 4th and 5th grade students.

Textbook Tabulators 4th and 5th The Textbook Tabulators will assist with Mrs. Garrett s responsibility of managing our school s textbooks and other supplies. You will meet with Mrs. Garrett as needed and will assist with inventory at the the end of the school year. This job is available to 4th and 5th grade students.

Safety Patrol Morning Safety Patrol will work with Coach Melton from 7:20-7:40 am to ensure that all students get out of their cars and into school safely. Afternoon Safety Patrol will assist Mrs. Hames from 2:45-3: 05 pm to ensure all students are safe in the car line during dismissal. Afternoon patrols will not exit the building until Mrs. Hames says to do so.
