In the spring of their Grade 10 school year, students will write the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test Students must pass the test in order to graduate from secondary school and earn a diploma. The OSSLT is based on the Ontario curriculum expectations for language and communication - particularly reading and writing - up to and including Grade 9 Community Involvement Requirements In order to develop a sense of civic responsibility and community values, students at WINDSOR ISLAMIC HIGH SCHOOL must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Community Involvement prior to graduation. Community Involvement is a graduation requirement for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

The Leadership of all Islamic Organizations including students, parents, teachers and Imams of RCIC & Dominion Mosques graced the ceremony and prayed for the progress and success of the WIHS. Ministry has approved WIHS as a Private School of the Greater Essex County District School Board and allotted Board School ID. BSID # 881190 Windsor Islamic High School Desk at WFCU Windsor on the Eid Ul Adha (Sep. 2015) Windsor Islamic High School arranged a Reception Desk during the Eid- Ul Adha Prayer at WFCU on September, 24, 2015 to enlighten the general public about the Mission & Vision of the School. The photographs show some WIHS Board Officials and other political officials of Windsor who visited WIHS Desk to support and encourage the establishment of a high school in Windsor for Muslim Community.

Oct. 2015- P1 During the period of L.I.F.E. (Learning Islam For Excellence), a Speaker from Al Maghrib Institute was delivering lecture related to Islam on Oct 5, 2015 to the students of WIHS. Students attended their Introductory Seminar on Friday Oct 9, 2015 at University of Windsor (Topic: SIGNS OF THE LAST DAY by : Sheikh Ahsan Hanif OPEN HOUSE in Windsor Islamic High School on Friday October 9, 2015 was organized to familiarize the School to the Muslim Community of Windsor. The timings was 2 6 Pm, A good number of parents visited the School. The Chairman of WIHS Board (Dr. Mohammad Moussa) was also present on this occasion.
Bridge Building Competition Windsor Islamic High School Students participated in a Bridge Building Competition for the students of Ontario Schools. Final presentation of the Bridge Models was on Oct. 18, 2015 at St. Clair College, Windsor. The Bridge of our one of the groups (Ilyaas, Souheil & Ibrahim) was assessed nearly to the top winners which was really a great achievement. They were awarded with the prize by the school s Principal. The Principal Fayaz Ahmed appreciated the efforts of the students under the guidance of our teacher Sr.Maham Ahmad.
