Additional Required Assessments for Identified Students In-Program Assessments These assessments are required and given at a specific time indicated in the program. These assessments are vital to the success of the program. Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words (SIPPS)-for K-2 students who place in the program Early Intervention in Reading (EIR) for ESE students who place in the program
Additional Required Assessments for Identified Students Ongoing Progress Monitoring/Decision Rules Students performing below grade level will receive ongoing progress monitoring with 1 of the OPM tools listed below. The data are used for several purposes: to determine if students are making progress in a deficit area, to determine appropriate intervention material, and to assist Problem Solving Teams (PST) with determining eligibility for ESE services.
