For the 2015-2016 school year, there were 15 Community Use of Schools rental permits issued that represented 990.5 hours of use. The City of North Bay offers an After School Program M-W-F. Currently, revenue is not generated at W.J. Fricker for facility-sharing community partnerships. Revenue from community use of school s rental permits totals $675 ($225 rent, $450 custodial) + HST. Three permits are at full cost recovery and the remaining 12 permits are subsidized through the Community Use of Schools Program where the permitted hours occur during times when custodians are not normally scheduled. This facility is at 82% utilization (2015-2016). By 2020-2021 W.J. Fricker s utilization is projected to decrease to 68%.
