PERFORMANCE SCHOLARSHIPS FOUNDERS PROGRAM: $12,000 $21,000 Premier scholarship program for qualified freshman. Requires 3.5 GPA, composite ACT score of 25 (or 1200 RSAT), admission to Evangel, Founders application and on-campus interview. Recipients must live on campus. (The Founders scholarship replaces merit.) ATHLETICS: amounts vary Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Football, Golf, Softball, Track and Cross Country, Volleyball, and Soccer. MUSIC: amounts vary Based on participation in various vocal and instrumental performance groups. Auditions required. NATIONAL FINE ARTS*: $500 $1,500 Recipients of the National Merit Award or Superior national ranking in solo categories achieved during freshman, sophomore or junior years of high school. Freshmen and transfers. AG AWARD*: $500 Recipients of the Royal Ranger Gold Medal of Achievement, Girls Ministry Gold Medal of Honor, Bible Quiz National Memorization Award, and top five individual Bible Quizzers nationally achieved during freshman, sophomore or junior years of high school. Freshmen and transfers. FORENSICS: $500 $3,000 Based on merit and demonstrated performance. *Apply for these awards on the application for admission. 6

ASSEMBLIES OF GOD AFFILIATE TUITION DISCOUNT We are pleased to offer a 50 percent tuition guarantee on classes taken at Evangel University to the dependents of employees (employed a minimum of two years) at the following affiliates. The 50 percent tuition guarantee includes merit and other scholarship programs for which the student is eligible. Must reapply annually; scholarships are not automatically renewed; amounts vary. *Fall 2018 incoming students the Private and Endowed Scholarship application is open from October 3, 2017 through January 31, 2018. A 2.0 minimum GPA is required ASSEMBLIES OF GOD SCHOLARSHIPS RIGGS SCHOLARSHIP FUND: General Superintendent s National Scholarship. Two $30,000 scholarships over four years; Eight one-time $5,000 scholarships. J. ROBERT ASHCROFT NATIONAL YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP: First place $8,000, Second place $4,000, Third place $2,000. It is important to search for outside scholarships early and often in your high school career. CAMPUS JOBS Need-based Federal Work-Study program and institutional employment. Eligible students can apply for an on-campus or community-service job. Amounts vary (recommended hours, between 8 15 hours/week). Visit HireEvangel.com to check out job opportunities at Evangel. FEDERAL GRANTS Federal grants are issued by the government and do not have to be repaid. PELL GRANT Need-based federal grant up to $5,920 per year. FSEOG Need-based federal grant up to $1,000 per year. TEACH GRANT Must be accepted into the Education Department. Pursuing a degree in a high-need field. If requirements are not met, grant will revert to Direct Unsubsidized Loan. Visit studentaid.ed.gov for more information. Federal awards are based on the 2017 18 academic year and may change in future years. 8

LOW-INTEREST EDUCATIONAL LOANS Loans are a form of financial aid that have to be repaid. DIRECT SUBSIDIZED LOAN: 4.45% interest* Freshmen: $3,500 Sophomores: $4,500 Juniors and Seniors: $5,500 Need-based federal loan. Interest is paid by the government while student is enrolled at least half time and during six-month grace period. DIRECT UNSUBSIDIZED LOAN: 4.45% interest* Interest accrues while student is in school. If student does not qualify for subsidized loan amount listed under Direct Subsidized Loan, the amount is awarded as unsubsidized. Additional amounts are available for independent students and dependent students whose parents are denied PLUS loan. Freshmen/Sophomores: $4,000; Juniors/Seniors: $5,000 DIRECT PARENT PLUS LOAN: 7% interest* Credit-based federal loan. Parents may borrow on behalf of dependent students. Visit: studentloans.gov and sign in using parent FSA ID to complete the loan request. PRIVATE LOAN** All students may apply through a lending institution. Credit-based. First of four payments is due at the beginning of each semester. $50 deferred-payment fee per semester. YOUR NEXT STEPS STEP 1: APPLY Complete the admissions application online at evangel.edu/apply. STEP 2: COMPLETE Request FSA ID at fsaid.ed.gov for both student and parent (if dependent student) as this serves as your electronic signature. Complete the FAFSA using 2016 federal income tax return at fafsa.ed.gov Evangel University FAFSA Code: 002463. STEP 3: REVIEW Monitor your My Financial Aid portal and student e-mail for financial aid communications. Once all requirements are met, your financial aid award letter will be mailed to you. If selected for verification, make sure all documents have been submitted and received. Accept your financial aid award through your My Financial Aid in your EU student portal. If using student loans, complete entrance counseling and sign Master Promissory Note (MPN). Notify financial aid counselor of any additional aid you will receive not listed on your award package. Provide a copy of outside scholarship awards from scholarship committee including your name and scholarship amount. Continue to watch your student e-mail for future financial aid notifications.
