Ongoing Are you using Khan Academy to improve your PSAT skills? Summer Research tech schools, colleges, & military options. Aug 1 st Apply Texas opens for your college applications. Dec 1 st Several major universities deadline for applications. Missing a deadline can have dramatic consequences.

Graduation Requirements (HB-5): 26 Credits Foundation Plan with Endorsement(s) 26 credits required that include: 4 English, 4 Math, 4 Science & 3-4 Social Studies (depends on Endorsement) 2.0 foreign language credits (same language) 1.0 PE/substitute credit 1.0 fine art credit 6-7 elective credits to include 4.0+ Endorsement elective credits (Each endorsement varies)

Pre-Registration Pre-Registration Endorsement Area Reminders: Each endorsement requires 4-7 credits within the same pathway. Your endorsement determines the electives you MUST take to meet graduation requirements. Failure to complete the 9 th and 10 th grade endorsement credits will cause your endorsement to default to Multidisciplinary Core. Career Center courses require prerequisite classes (ex. Principles of Agriculture is required for Veterinary Medicine).

Summer School It is your responsibility to track your grades and make plans for summer school if you fail one or more classes. Summer school flyers are published in April & May Listen for announcements. Pick up a flyer from the Counseling Center. Submit forms to register for classes and/or EOC tutoring/testing. Career Center What to Expect: Hands-on work environment. Highly competitive to get into courses. Seniors- Core classes are on-line. Behavior, attendance, & grades have a big impact on selection and continued attendance at CC. You select the course but make sure you can handle the work load. Failure to submit pre-registration forms will eliminate your selection for the CC.

AP Courses College level work load is demanding. Time management is critical. Comprehensive test at end of year to determine college credit. Select the course but make sure you. can handle the work.
Dual Credit Courses College level work load is demanding. Must complete pre-assessment before taking & passing the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) test (limit two attempts on the test). Complete on-line/turn in CTC application by April 15th. Grade in course counts for both college & high school grade/credit.
