These included SFT on-tour events (KS1 and KS2), Mini-Olympics for Class 2 and Class 3, Cross Country, Tag-Rugby for Class 4, Bell Boat and Dragon Boat for C3 and C4 + Participation in the Go Girl Project by 12 girls from R-Y5 encouraged enjoyment of - Few opportunities for Key Stage 1 and EYFS Continue into next year Rising Stars Sports Coaches 4514 + Quality PE coaching provided for each class 1x per week in unusual sports e.g. Lacrosse, Volleyball (Year 5/6), Table Tennis, Badminton (Year 3/4) Multi Skills (KS1). + Through teacher observation of the coaching staff now feel they can deliver a wider range of PE lessons (dependent on equipment) - SL observation and pupil feedback showed boys generally more engaged in lessons with the male coach than girls Not to continue next year Small Schools Netball and Football League 120 + Friendly football matches with other small schools - No netball matches played girls unengaged Not to continue next year
NH Rural Schools Partnership 10 + Rural Schools Netball and Football rallies attended RESULTS TBC + Enjoyed by girls and boys alike Herts County Dance Membership 15.08 + 10 children (8 girls) participated in prestigious Herts County Dance Festival Coaches to Sporting Events 600 + Coaches to Bell Boat Festival and 2x mini Olympic events allowed 84 children to take part in these enrichment activities. Subject Leaders Release Time 1211.92 + Allowed overtime for two LSAs to organize school s attendance at competitions in absence of SL (maternity leave) to ensure sport (particularly girls) remained high on the school agenda and calendar throughout the year. Resources to support Girls Sport 500 + Additional sports resources purchased (E19 PE) including on active playtime resources to engage girls, new balls for netball and basketball, lacrosse equipment and medals to celebrate the end of year netball achievement
Sports Premium 2017/18 Funding Allocation 2017/18-102 Children on Roll - 8400 funded for year 2017/18-16940 unconfirmed (see below statement on DfE website) Funding for 2017 to 2018 Schools with 16 or fewer eligible pupils receive 1,000 per pupil. Schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive 16,000 and an additional payment of 10 per pupil.
