ECONOMIC IMPACT The HFC service area economy received roughly $51.7 million in income due to HFC operations and capital spending. For every dollar appropriated by state and local government, taxpayers will see a cumulative return of $3.70 over the course of a student s working career in the form of higher tax receipts and decreased social costs.
