I m only a part-time program, can I have a pathway? Yes Pathway is based upon courses taught, including those on an alternating every-other-year schedule 21
Can I have more than one pathway? Yes Depending on the variety of course within your program Depending on the statewide pathways in your CTE area 22
How do I know what pathway I will have now? Your OPI CTE Specialist will review course offerings via the CTE Participation Reports Reports generated through course and enrollment data entered into OPI s TEAMS system Participation Reports are reviewed in the spring Reports also used for CTE program & State CTE/VoEd funding approval 23
How will I get my new statewide pathway approved? CTE Specialist will complete a Pathway Approval Form Pathway Approval Forms will be filled out for each CTE Program & for each available Statewide Pathway Pathway Approval Forms will be sent electronically directly to you Pathway Approval Forms MUST BE RETURNED to OPI with the additionally requested information to complete the process. 24

How will I know my new statewide pathway is approved? Review Foundation & Elective Courses Add Alternating Schedule Courses (if necessary) List Work-Based Learning experiences & Certifications offered Individual reviewing & added data to form (you, department chair, and/or administrator) keys in their name(s) and date reviewed Form emailed back to CTE Specialist by May 1 32
Pathway Approval Forms for each approvable Career Pathway will be completed each year Schools will be able to report Work-Based Learning experiences and Industry Recognized Credentials on a yearly basis Approved will be pre-populated in Perkins E-Grants Thus the need for May 1 approval and reporting completion 33
Pathway Approval Be sure to check YOUR course data in TEAMS Contact your administrator, clerk, or IT department to either get access or to view data it is public information If school says no ask your CTE Specialist to send you a screenshot Check to be sure ALL your courses are listed, listed and coded correctly, & enrollment numbers are correct 34
Pathway Approval Deadline to make changes/updates is November 1, 2018 All changes/updates must be made at the school/district level Data will be used for Participation Reports, State CTE/VoEd Funding, Pathway Approval, & Perkins Funding 35
