SPORTS & LANGUAGE Junior Programme Partnership between CAVILAM Alliance française and Vichy Stages (registered organization through the French Ministry of Youth and Sport) Language and Sport programme including full board accommodation GOALS Foreign teenagers sharing the pleasure of learning French and having fun discovering various sports with French nationals. PROFILE French and foreign teenagers aged 12 to 16. PROGRAMME Morning: French courses at CAVILAM Alliance française carried out by qualified teachers with the experience of teaching to kids and teenagers (12 students maximum per class). Foreign teenagers have French classes while French teenagers have, according to their choice, either English, Spanish or German classes. All of them are gathered in the afternoon for the activities. Afternoon: multisport activities at VICHY STAGES, located 10 minutes walking distance from the school CAVILAM Alliance française. tennis and golf introduction, swimming, canoeing, rafting, table tennis, basket-ball, volley-ball, squash, mountain biking, badminton, gym, archery, accrobranch, bowling, mini golf Discovery of the region: theme parks (Vulcania or Le Pal), vulcanoes, or volcanic crater lake. Evening entertainment, end of course party, prize giving Sports activities are run by accredited instructors. DATES and FEES (2017) Duration to be chosen: 2 or 4 weeks in July and August The program is run from p.m. on day of arrival (dinner) to a.m. of departure day (after breakfast) Dates (2 weeks): From 25 June to 8 July, from 9 to 22 July, from 22 July to 5 August, from 6 to 19 August 2017 Dates (4 weeks): From 25 June to 22 July, from 9 July to 5 August, from 23 July to 19 August 2017 Fees: 1725.00 /2 weeks 3669.00 /4 weeks + 75 of enrolment fees These prices include courses, activities, full-board accommodation, sport equipment, local transport of the students (excursions and activities outside the town) and 24h supervision. Transfers from and to the airport not included. SUPERVISION / RESPONSABILITY VICHY STAGES (registered organization through the French Ministry of Youth and Sport): supervision by VICHY STAGES team, one supervisor for 10 children. ACCOMMODATION One family house in the country (10 km from Vichy) for the youngest (12-14 year olds), 15 students maximum, 3 beds per room, shared WC and bathroom, TV room. Separate rooms for boys/girls. One residence in town for the oldest (over 14 year olds), up to 16 students, 3 beds per room, shared WC and bathroom, TV room. Adult supervision by Vichy Stages team during day and night. Emergency phone number: +33 (0)6 82 82 70 83 INFORMATION VICHY STAGES is equipped with 17 tennis courts including 10 open-air clay courts and 4 covered clay courts and 3 open-air hard courts, swimming-pool, volleyball, basketball and badminton courts, table tennis tables, gym room, accrobranch equipment, and a restaurant. At CAVILAM Alliance française, students have at their disposal the latest state of the art technological equipment: multimedia language laboratories, audio-visual rooms and white interactive boards. VICHY STAGES and CAVILAM Alliance française are insured for transportation and all activities. Children must be covered by medical, repatriation insurance and civil liability. IMPORTANT: Any cancellation occurring at least three weeks before the arrival date will be refunded, except 75 for administration fees. After this time limit, no refund will be possible. It is advisable to take out a cancellation insurance.
