Lake Brantley Athletics Physical Night If you plan on playing a sport during the 2017-2018 school year this physical will cover you for the whole year. Lake Brantley in conjunction with Orlando Orthopaedic Center will be conducting physicals for the upcoming year. May not be used to advance. Attendance is mandatory. Limited to core academic courses Not recommended for athletes wishing to compete at the collegiate level. Virtual School (SCVS or FLVS) May be used to retrieve lost credit due to a grade of F or excessive absences. May be used to advance in credits. Seminole Virtual for Summer Courses requires counselor approval. Preferred method for athletes. **Please note that SCVS will not approve the start of an AP course during the summer

Summer Guidance Appointments Counselors will have very limited availability over the summer. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the front desk: 407-746-3450 If your child would like to change their requested courses for the 17-18 school year please encourage them to do so before the end of the school year. Elective changes need to be requested PRIOR to the close of the current school year. All other requests will be addressed on an as needed basis. Moral of the story: Sooner rather than later Other than June 2 nd, Seminole County Public Schools are not open on Fridays in the summer. Please see the Patriot Parade and any other mailers sent from Lake Brantley for dates, times, and contact information.

Reminders Check the Lake Brantley Website regularly for updates Be sure to read any information mailed home over the summer AP Courses may have Summer assignments- students should get with the teachers prior to break and be aware of requirements and deadlines There is NO required Summer reading, however, teachers may offer this assignment for extra-credit. Please see the LBHS website for more information. Any counselor can approve Community Service. Please get it pre-approved prior to starting any hours. Register for virtual school courses prior to the end of the school year to get counselor approval. Schedule requests will go out to students before the year ends.
