KELLENBERG MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL IS A CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL THAT SEEKS TO EDUCATE BOTH THE HEART AND THE MIND OF THE STUDENT. Kellenberg offers a focused, four-year curriculum, which includes annual study in the six major academic areas. Kellenberg Memorial offers 75 extracurricular activities and over 80 athletic squads. The Brother Joseph C. Fox Latin School is the Middle School Division of Kellenberg Memorial High School. The Latin School seeks to provide the middle school student with a qualitative Catholic Education in the Marianist Tradition. Latin School students may participate in the many activities and athletic programs offered exclusively to the middle school students. The Latin School also strives to develop the religious awareness of the students. The Latin School is open to young men and women entering the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.

ABOUT KELLENBERG MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL Participation in extracurricular clubs and activities is an essential part of the Kellenberg Memorial experience. Students have the opportunity to become involved in one or more of 75 different cocurricular or extracurricular activities. Kellenberg Memorial offers over 80 athletic teams. For sports in which the demand is very great, Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity level teams have been created in order to allow for maximum participation and enthusiasm. In addition to the academic and extracurricular programs at Kellenberg Memorial, students also share in a faith experience within the context of a Catholic school community. All activities, both inside and outside of the classroom, are carried out in the spirit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the spiritual dimension of their education, students grow into mature, Christian men and women. Retreat Programs are held inemmanuel Retreat House on campus and at Founder s Hollow, a Marianist Retreat facility in upstate New York. Fox Latin School give priority of admission to baptized Roman Catholic young men and women. Admission is extended to professed Christians when resources permit. CAMP INFORMATION Instructional Sports Camp Kellenberg Memorial High School Instructional Sports Camps offer athletes the opportunity to receive personalized instruction from an experienced athletic staff. The primary goal of the camps is to develop fundamentals and to sharpen the skills of the athletes. Athletes are given the opportunity to display their talents in contests and game that are conducted during the camps. Cost of Kellenberg Sports Camps The cost of all Kellenberg instructional camps includes lunch and beverage, camp apparel or equipment, and insurance. Physical Each participant must have had a physical within one year of the start of the first day of summer camp. Registration for a camp is acknowledgement that your son/daughter has had a physical in the past year. Insurance All enrollment fees include accident insurance similar to the school accident insurance program. Registration Form The 2018 Summer Camp registration form must be complete in order to process the camp application. Please be sure the waiver is signed and all other pertinent information is filled out. Your registration may be delayed if the form is not fully completed. Payment APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE WITH THE APPLICATION. Theater Workshop Payment A deposit of $450.00 will be accepted to secure a Theater Workshop enrollment. Final payment will be due June 8, 2018 Payment information will be mailed upon enrollment in the workshop. Refunds Any refund requests prior to the start of a camp will result in a deduction of $75.00 processing fee. Once camp has begun, no refunds will be issued. Drama Production The workshop will culminate with a live production. The production will be open to parents, friends, and family.

Communications Camp I: Mass Media June 25-29, 2018 Boys and Girls entering 9-12 The Communications Camp I: Mass Media will focus on showcasing various areas of media: journalism, broadcasting, digital media, and print media. The camp serves those who are interested with journalism and what makes news. Communications Camp II: SPORTS Media July 16-20, 2018 Boys and Girls entering 9-12 The Communications Camp II: Sports Media will focus on showcasing various forms of media through a sports journalism lens, specifically broadcasting, reporting, debating, and writing about sports.

RObotics $275 Boys and Girls entering 6-11 Focus on learning how to design, build, code, and drive robots. At the end of the week, students will compete in teams against each other with the robot they make. Computer Science $275 Boys and Girls entering 9-12 An introduction into computer science and programming along with problem solving techniques. Culinary Camp July 9 - July 13, 2018 $325 Boys and Girls entering 6-12 Learn fundamentals of food preparation, cooking, and baking, plan daily meals, create a recipe book of camp favorites, decorate your own apron.

Creative Writing July 9-13, 2018 $250 Boys and Girls entering 6-12 The Creative Writing camp will help to develop a Creative Process in the areas of Daily Journal Writing, Poetry Exercises, Short Fiction Writing, and Creative Nonfiction. Mastering the College App Essay Session I: June 25-29, 2018 Session II: July 16-20, 2018 $250 Boys and Girls entering 10-12 All aspects of the College Entrance Essay Writing Process will be reviewed, such as Meeting Deadlines and Schedules, Incorporating Popular Topics, Approaching the Narrative, and Formulating an Essay.

Athletic Facilities Matthew Field A full size synthetic turf field surrounded by an all-weather rubberized track. This is our main game field with bleachers and remote control scoreboard. Girls and boys soccer and lacrosse games are played here as well as Latin School, Freshman, and Junior Varsity Football games. Mark Field Across from Matthew Field is Mark Field. Mark Field is used for Latin School, Freshman, and Junior Varsity games. Luke Field Kellenberg s very own softball field where the Latin School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity Softball teams practice and play. John Field Located directly in back of the school. It is used as a practice field for our athletic teams. Jericho and Jerusalem Two additional fields to the east and west of Kellenberg Memorial. Jericho is a full sized baseball field used for our freshman and Latin School baseball teams. Jerusalem is able to accommodate two full size practice fields as well as be a site for Latin School games. St. Sebastian Hall The school s fitness facility that is open to all students and sports teams. There is also a practice area in St. Sebastian for our Cheerleading Program. Gymnasium Our air-conditioned gymnasium has a 1600 person capacity and features 14 basketball hoops and two regulation volleyball courts. The gym floor along with the bleachers were renovated in the summer of 2014. St. Charles Field Located on the corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Glenn Curtiss Boulevard, St. Charles Fields are used by all levels of Girls and Boys Soccer and Lacrosse. The fields also feature a Shotput/Discus circle for track teams.
