English in Action All year round Adventure Choice All year round International students choosing our standard English as a Foreign Language (EFL) programme will receive a minimum of 15 hours of interactive language tuition per week in classes of up to 15 students, alongside a fun, challenging and exhilarating activity programme. The focus is on developing confidence in English language with particular emphasis on speaking and listening. Students gain a certificate of English language and a course report on the progress they have made during their time with us. Outside of the summer months this programme can be tailored to your needs with additional excursions. Formal language lessons: 15 hours Excursions: a day and a half The activity leaders were all really good. My teacher was very funny, I learned a lot and had so much fun too. Our Adventure Choice programme is hugely popular. The focus is on practising English through a comprehensive activity programme, from flying through the air on a zipwire to fun problem solving tasks. Many of our activities encourage language use and provide further opportunities for practising English in real-life situations, through communication and team building exercises. Outside of the summer months, this programme can also be tailored to your needs. Please note, students will need an intermediate level of English or above if opting to attend our seasonal holiday camps (see pages 10 and 11). Immersive: Non-classroom based learning Excursions: a day and a half It s a great experience for students who want to learn English. They improve their knowledge while enjoying the outdoor and indoor activities.
