Changes t CATE System Functinality Each schl system / schl must identify prgram fferings t supprt CTE data aggregatin fr Cre Indicatr Reprts Under the Schl menu, in 2015-2016, a NEW type f Wrk Related Experience Jump Start Internship Prgrams was added t CATE Submissin f Jump Start Internship data requires signing a Jump Start Assurance Agreement A Jump Start Internship Guideline resurce (fund in the Dcumentatin menu tab) highlights The type f internships available The internship data required fr submissin 7
Jump Start Internships Jump Start Internship Prgram data entry Begins with submissin f the Jump Start Assurance Agreement Fr guidance, reference Jump Start Internship Guidelines lcated under the Dcumentatin tab. These guidelines align with thse n the All Things Jump Start webpage. Schl systems must maintain, n file, the fllwing dcumentatin fr all internships Student Perfrmance Data e.g. attendance, engagement, safety Teacher Engagement Emplyer Engagement LDOE will generate annual internship enrllment reprts frm the data submitted 8
2016-2017 CTE Data Submissin Requirements and Timeline Fr any student graduating with a Jump Start TOPS Tech Career Diplma, credentials must be upladed thrugh STS and eschlar prcesses per graduatin requirements. Fr graduates f 2015-2017, acceptable dcumentatin f credentials is a certificate prvided by the certifying agency. If the certificate isn t available, an alternate dcument issued by the certifying agency is acceptable Fr graduates f 2018 and beynd, the nly acceptable dcumentatin is the certificate prvided by the certifying agency. Schl-based Enterprise Prgrams 8. Student Participatin Data in Industry-Based Certificatin (IBC) Prgrams (Tested Participants that did NOT attain a certificatin) 9. Cncurrent Enrllment Data 11
2016-2017 CTE Data Submissin Requirements and Timeline The CTE data submissin timeline is the fllwing. April 1: LEAs prvide 1 st (preliminary) submissin f IBC data t LDOE May 15: CATE will pen fr schl systems t submit CTE data and t validate accuracy f IBC data submitted t LDOE; this will als allw schl systems t wrk with LDOE t crrect any IBC data reprted) June 30: End-f-Year data update frm STS & SIS prvided t CATE vendr (this file will include a 2 nd submissin f IBC data frm schl systems) Octber 1: Final STS & SIS (including final IBC data) submitted t CATE vendr (this file will include a 3 rd and final submissin f IBC data frm LEAs) 12
