Junior courses running all year around for junior groups Fixed intake dates for individual juniors on Globalnet Maximum stay 7 weeks in one destination (4 weeks in homestay and 3 weeks in residence or vice versa) Juniors study in the same building as all other students but have a different timetable All students booked on a junior, no matter if they are 16 or 17 will have to follow rules for juniors (curfew, supervision etc.) Any 16 or 17 year old student who would like to change their course to an ILS course can only do so with written consent from their parents/ guardian and the School Director Recommended Junior Pocket Money: approx. 100/ week (for travel card, extra activities and souvenirs) Minimum age is 13 unless students are travelling as part of a group or with a responsible adult (parent, aunty, uncle etc.) All bookings MUST include the lunch supplement & transfers (summer WSS to be included) Travel insurance for juniors is compulsory Erika or personal insurance. In case of personal insurance a copy must be uploaded

All groups must be approved by the central capacity team, please note there is a minimum group size Group leaders MUST have a police check/ criminal record uploaded before their arrival in the UK Out of season groups will more than likely be mono-national groups unless we have other groups or individuals booked during the requested dates. We can organize activities to your specifications. Just let us know what your budgets its and what your groups/ clients are looking for For additional activities please add the GAV article to individual students

JU - 20 lessons per week on a zig zag in the mornings or afternoon JI - 26 lessons per week INT classes are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons after their General English class or activity Two teachers are usually assigned to a General English class so students experience different styles of teaching Students are using Fast Track books All students receive a final certificate Attendance for all juniors is compulsory and will be checked daily Friday School Assembly for all JUN students

Set up: Each junior activity group consists of a maximum of 40 students and two group leaders Programme includes: Excursion to Beachy Head 2 discos per week (July only) One fun activity per week such as Mini Golf, Laserquest, Bowling, Roller Skating, BBQ Daily supervised activities such as EF Olympics, Tennis, Basketball, Museum, Art Galleries, Arts & Crafts, Colour Fun, Treasure Hunt, Selfie Challenge, Fashion Shows, Bracelet Making etc. Optional activities can be booked such as London, Brighton, Oxford, Harry Potter studios, Kayaking, Sailing, Horse Riding etc. (prices vary)

LOCAL ACTIVITIES: Beachy Head, Seven Sisters, Birling Gap, Hastings (half day), Lewes (half day) (prices vary between 5.00-10.00) DAY TRIPS: Cambridge, Canterbury, London, Stonehenge & Salisbury, Oxford, Portsmouth, Harry Potter Studios, Brighton (half-day) etc. (prices vary between 35.00-55.00)

ATTENDANCE OF ACTIITIES All day activities (mornings and afternoons) are compulsory. Juniors must return home to their homestay or their residence for dinner at 6pm every day. All evening activities are optional but students must inform staff if their attending an evening activity. In case of non-attendance of EF evening activities students must inform their host what their plans are for the evening, especially if they are planning to spend time with friends and must return home before curfew. We will do spot checks on students who are not attending EF organised evening activities. OPTIONAL PAID FOR ACTIVITIES Should student not wish to participate in paid for activities or paid for weekend excursions they will have to attend one of the free activities offered. STUDENTS TRAVELLING WITH FRIENDS Students travelling with friends may be a allocated to different classes because of their level but will be able to be together in their activity group. ACTIVITY GROUPS New activity groups are organised Tuesdays of each week because of arriving and departing students. Students may not be in the same activity group every week.
