Although it has been a short week, it has been illed with excitement and energy! Our students never disappoint us! Today, our juniors completed the pre-administration for the PSAT this coming Wednesday. Each student was also given a practice book that they can use to prepare for the PSAT. I have given each of them a charge to do their very best on the PSAT. This will increase their chances of eligibility in the National Merit Scholarship program (to learn more, use this link: h p://www.na onalmerit.org/s/1758/ interior.aspx?sid=1758&gid=2&pgid=424). Please ensure we have a permission slip (or an email from the email account of a parent) to guarantee that each of our juniors may travel to take the PSAT. Students must arrive at Harper by 6:45 am. The building will be open by 6:30 am. Students may enter through the doors nearest our classrooms and report to the appropriate room. The goal is to help accommodate these students by providing them with support and consistency when their parents are deployed, when they are transitioning between schools, and at other pivotal times during their academic career. To help the district get the information needed, there is a form that needs to be illed out by you and/or your parent.
