Dear Parents/Carers, Please find enclosed details of the clubs and activities on offer next term. When selecting a club, please check the membership details carefully, ensuring that your child can attend regularly. Some clubs may run for the year, others for a term, a half-term or a few weeks. When applying for clubs, please email our club address: clubs@darell.richmond.sch.uk. As many clubs have space limitations, places are awarded in the fairest way possible, and where possible we hold a waiting list. Please don t forget to register for clubs each term, as this is done on a first come, first served basis. Confirmation of club places will be sent out by the agency running the club or via the clubs email if the club is run by the school. There is a charge for some clubs to cover the coach s tuition fees. If your child would like to participate in a fee-paying club but you feel you would have difficulty paying the fee, please apply as normal but ask in reception to discuss alternative payment arrangements. Clubs may occasionally be cancelled at short notice due to staff absence, and when this happens, the school should not be relied upon for child care. Parents will be informed by text/phone call if a club needs to be cancelled. Club Behaviour Code please note: Please remind your children that only exemplary behaviour will be tolerated at all extra-curricular clubs. Any child misbehaving risks losing their place. If you have any questions, please ask in reception.
