In our next Assembly we will be thinking about being Trustworthy and not gossiping and focusing on our school value of Respect. We would like to remind you that Celebration Assembly is at 9 am every Friday morning. You are all very welcome to join us to celebrate the hard work that has been going on in all our classes during the week. Don t forget, if you are unable to make it to the service, you are able to look at photos on the website to see what the children have been doing during the week. We are encouraging all our children and especially our new starters, to show respect during our assemblies. This includes how they come in, sit and leave. We would really appreciate your support by acting as role models waiting quietly when the children enter the hall and until they have all left. Thank you.
1 Our Children in Need donations came to 136.21 with a further 36 being raised in Acorns. Many thanks to everyone who entered the Where have you been spotted? photo competition. The winners of this were Hattie, Harrison, Will, Joey, Luke, George and Toby. Well done! Thank you also to Friends of School for raising funds for the prizes. 2 Please return consent, voluntary contribution and choices for packed lunch if needed for the Panto Trip by Monday 4 th December at the latest. Action 3 4 This is a reminder that when lunch forms are given out, they must be returned by the following Thursday morning at the latest. This is so that food orders can be made and disappointment avoided. There have been several cases recently where late orders have come in and there is not enough of the requested food. Chippenham Pit Stop have invited us to take part in their Christmas Tree Rental project. For each tree that is rented via the school, the school receives a 5 donation. The trees are grown in pots in Gloucestershire and are returned after Christmas to grow for another year. Repeat forms are with this newsletter. If you would like to do this, please return the form by Monday 27 th November at the latest. 5 6 7 Could we again politely request that you drive and park considerately outside the school and do not reverse into neighbours driveways to turn around. There is space at the top near the church to park. Although this land is owned by the church, we have permission to use it for parking and turning. Cars are blocking the road and emergency vehicles would not be able to access if needed. Foxham Reading Rooms are holding a Family Christmas Bingo session on Saturday 2 nd December at 5 pm. Did you know that we now offer After School Care? Wrap-around care is offered at Seagry School and is available to children from Christian Malford. Places are limited, but if you are interested, please contact the school office. Don t forget as well that Breakfast Club, run by Grassroots, is also available in our school hall each morning. See the Parents and Carers section on the website for more details. Action 8 9 The Primary school application process is underway.
