It is always one of the most beautiful days for our school community. Thank you to Mary Pat Schneider and Pat Garcia for their leadership on this! Important Reminders Please turn in permissions slips for the school wide field trip to Circle C Swim Center. The trip is Friday, May 13, from 10:30am-3:00pm. All students and staff will leave immediately following the Grand Tour Prize Rally, to be held at 9am in the gym. P A G E 2 Admissions News: Part Time Pre-K 3 Pre-K 3 is offering a part-time option, in addition to full-time, for the 2016-2017 school year. If you have a 3 year old who currently goes to a part-time program at a different school and you would like the convenience of having all your children at one school this program is for you. Parents, please help spread the word about our Pre-k 3 classroom to all your friends and neighbors. Most people don't know St. Austin's has a Pre-K 3 class. So if you know any families who might be interested please send them our way! Talent Show The St. Austin Student Council presents the annual talent show on Wednesday, May 18 at 1:30. We are looking for singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, all talented students! Performances will be limited to 2 minutes or less. Try Outs will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 3:30pm in the gym. All acts are required to try out. Questions? P A G E 3 Booster Club Bake Sale The St. Austin Booster Club Mother's Day Spring Bake Sale is tomorrow May 7th after 5:00 Mass & after Sunday morning Masses May 8th. Please help make this a BIG Success by baking some of your favorite treats to sell to parishioners. We welcome any home baked goodies; cakes, cookies, pies, brownies, tea breads, cupcakes, etc. If you missed your chance Friday you can still deliver baked goods to the courtyard before masses on Saturday and Sunday. Their St. Michael s class film, Menninism, won First Place in the student division. The class is taught by former SACS teacher Jim Dziedzic. Way to go future filmmakers! PAGE 4 Winter/Spring Sports Pep Rally Eagle Athletes were treated to a pep rally Monday celebrating this semester s sports basketball, tennis, golf, and track. You can see from the photos we have LOTS of well rounded kids who play several sports! As part of the fun our faculty also played musical chairs. Congratulations to Mrs. Corroa for her win!
