This is provided by self-study preparation and tutor lead sessions. Depending upon the number of students booked on a programme, we reserve the right to change the number of tutor facing days. A cohort needs to be made up of a minimum of 6 people with a target maximum of 14 per programme. Blended Approach Students are requested to book with the Academy and be members of the Institute prior to commencement of the programme. The programme commences with an Induction meeting /Conference call where students can meet the tutor(s) and understand the style of learning, study requirements and the delivery of the programme. Exams are set three times a year providing an effective route to complete the CIPS Certificate in one Year. Where practical study days are preprogrammed three sessions in advance, but occasionally for student or tutor requirements these need to be flexed, any changes are agreed with the whole group to enable effective work place planning. Practice for examinations are provided in the form of individual questions, course work and mock exam paper assignments, for each unit, which are marked by the tutor who gives constructive feedback. These are not compulsory, but we feel that they give valuable practice at answering examination style questions and the opportunity to assess progress.
